This home is in a quiet area.
The Vale House Lodges are in a quiet converted stable yard and offers 5 developed flexible & stylish lodges which can be booked as a whole or individually.
We offer comfy beds, crisp bedding free wifi, private bathrooms, flat screen tvs and hospitality trays in some lodges
NB: If you want to party then this is not for you, please book somewhere else.
If you want to be loud, then please book somewhere else.
If you don't want to follow the rules, then please book somewhere else.

The space
These boutique bedrooms are set in a converted stable yard. Although the buildings date back as far as 1895, the rooms have been recently created and contain everything you'll need for a pleasant stay including flat screen tv, wifi and tea and coffee making facilities.

Chestnut Lodge features its own lounging area which boasts full kitchen facilities, dining table that will seat 10/12 with chairs and benches.

There is a bright and airy double bedroom with a beautiful oak four poster bed, dressing table area, large mirror and space for hanging clothes. Plus a bathroom with shower.

Note: (no tea/coffee tray in this bedroom as there is a full kitchen in this lodge)
No extra guests to visit this lodge, only guests booked can use this space.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire private lodge.

Other things to note
The main house is our family home so we will be on site. The accommodation is to the back of The Vale House.
This lodge is set within a quiet courtyard.
Although there is some external lighting we advise you bring a torch if you are planning on visiting the local village and pubs of an evening.
If you are looking to be noisy or have a large drink gathering then please book somewhere else.
If you don't want to follow the rules then please book somewhere else.
If you are a bride or groom wanting to get ready for your special day and are staying with us, you will need full venue hire.... not individual booked lodges.

We live in between Findon Village and Findon Valley which is situated within the South Downs.
Findon is a semi-rural clustered village and civil parish in the Arun District of West Sussex, 4 miles north of Worthing.
There are 4 pubs local to us within a short walk in either direction.
We are very closely located near Cissbury Barns, Long Furlong Barns and Findon Place for wedding accommodation.
To the West of us is High Salvington with its beautiful Grade 11 listed post mill that has been restored and is in full working order.
If you are an avid walker, cyclist, trail runner we have the South Downs Way, Cissbury Ring, Chanctonbury Ring and The Gallops plus much more.
