Beautiful simplistic townhome. Air conditioning really helped during the summer. Loved the kitchen and the bathroom, and used the washer once. That helped a lot during a long travel. The downsides are the distance to the most popular and picturesque neighborhoods (Gion, Kyomizu-d…

How a nice and thoughtful host Jasmine is. Due to the hard rains during our trip, she gives weather updates and recommendations along the way. She did make our trip much easier, and we did enjoy our vacation there. Definitely gonna booked that fabulous house again once going to K…

This was our second stay at Jasmine's little house so that speaks for itself. Though elegantly basic ( a bit like an log cabin ) it has everything you need, including a great state of the art Japanese bathroom. We loved that. And the simplicity of the building. We found all the e…

A lovely base to have in Kyoto: clean, warm, reasonably spacious with comfy tatami mats and a powerful shower; conveniently near a bus stop and a 20 min walk from Kyoto station. It's a short taxi ride from the more foodie part of town. Can recommend staying here!
