The apartment is close to busses and Vancouver's skytrain, and week-long street parking permits can be arranged on your arrival.

Anna's apartment was very lovely and clean! 4 of us stayed there and had a lovely time. We used the bed and the air mattress and both were very comfortable. The apartment was in a nice location and walking distance to Stanley Park as well as several restaurants and coffee shops. Anna was a great host! She was prompt, friendly, and helpful in her communications. She left us clear instructions for the apartment and some great suggestions for nearby spots to check out. Thanks for the wonderful stay!
We loved staying in Anna's charming, clean place. She was very hospitable and left us great instructions on how to enjoy the place for the weekend. It was perfectly sized for us (two people) and our small dogs. As she was out of town, we unfortunately didn't get to meet her in person.
The location is excellent! If you didn't have a car, it certainly wouldn't be a problem. In fact, our car was a little bit of a liability. Parking in the West End is no treat, so if you have the option to take Anna up on any help getting a temporary parking pass, I would do so.
This was a perfect stay. Anna's place is located within a 5 min walk of the restaurants and Whole Foods on Robson, and 10 mind within the heart of downtown for shopping and the art museum, not to mention Stanley Park.
The apartment itself is elegant and furnished with great taste. Everything was clean and well organized. The bed was extremely comfortable, like exceptionally so. Really nice sleep even with some street noise / sirens (we had the window open at night).

Anna's apartment was clean and tidy, and we had no problems whatsoever. It's in a great location, not far from Robson street, and there's an excellent little convenience store a stones throw away. We used the air mattress too, which was impressively comfortable.
Anna was super accommodating with a very last minute reservation. Her apartment was perfectly located by some of my favourite parts of Vancouver and it was great to be able to bring my dog with me. The only reason I gave four stars was because the parking was pretty impossible in this neighbourhood, and I only lucked out because of Remembrance Day weekend. It would have been helpful to know in advance about the parking or at least make arrangements for a parking permit. Due to the last-minute nature of my reservation, however, it's understandable this was not an option. I had a great stay at Anna's place in Vancouver!
Anna was an excellent host - quick to respond, and answered all questions clearly. She was flexible, pleasant and accommodating. This is a great location for active travellers - shops, restaurants, the beach, buses etc. all within walking distance. The neighbourhood felt safe and comfortable.

The apartment was wonderful and the location perfect! The only reason I didn't give five stars is the smell in the hallways (NOT in the apartment- that smelled perfectly fine). Apparently the landlord recently steam cleaned the carpets but the smell that was released was terrible! This is most likely a temporary issue but since I can't know that for sure I felt I had to shave off a star. Otherwise, the apartment was great and the owner was very sweet and helpful. I stayed here with my husband and two young children and although I'd recommend it heartily for adults and older kids, it probably wasn't the best choice for younger kids since I worried too much about damaging the owner's nice things! Also, there was no kitchen table- not a problem for adults as there was a coffee table, but I didn't trust the kids on the sofa so we weren't able to self-cater. Not a huge issue. The location on a quiet street but so close to the vibrant West End was fantastic, and we walked everywhere, taking the bus and ferries only to a few farther off destinations. Very close to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores, ATMs, all the essentials. We used the laundry in the building by filling up a pre-paid card that the owner provided and she even let us use her detergent. Highly recommended.
