  • Peter Paul and Lisa were seriously the perfect hosts! They are both very friendly and professional about their AirBNB business. They were easily accessible at all times.

The space was very nice large and clean.. a large bathroom, cozy separate bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, and the perfect main room with desk to do my work. Lots of yummy treats provided by Lisa. :)

The location on Herengracht was perfect too. 5 minute walk to the Jordaan, Dam Square or Leidsestraat. The only minor challenge was that the unit was three flights up some fairly steep stairs but I still managed to get my ridiculously heavy suitcases up and down - actually with Peter's help.

I wouldn't hesitate to rent their place again or recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Amsterdam. (I could have probably stayed in the room comfortable for a couple of months!) Thank you Peter Paul and Lisa. See you guys again soon. Best, Joe

  • This is a great apartment. The location is great and close to everywhere you want to go.
The apartment is very clean and the atmosphere is inviting and fun to be there. The hospitality of Peter Paul and Lisa is remarkable.
The stairs are a challenge but were not a real problem
Thank you Peter Paul and Lisa!

  • This apartment is wonderfully equipped, spotlessly clean and in the perfect location to truly enjoy Amsterdam to the fullest. Everything was a mere walk away and it would be a walk filled with beautiful things to see in a charming and incredibly comfortable neighborhood.
But in fact, the best thing about this apartment has to be that it comes with the two best hosts you could ask for. Lisa and Peter Paul ooze with genuine warmth and a level of curiosity that is so engaging. They want to make sure that you are getting the most out of your stay in Amsterdam– from answering any and all questions, translating Dutch, placing fresh flowers and goodies in your apartment and engaging in conversations that go beyond the superficial "how is your vacation going?'
I can't recommends this apartment enough and have my fingers crossed that there will be a reason for me to return in the very near future.

  • Lisa and Peter Paul are the BEST airbnb hosts! Lisa was at the apartment ready to greet us and give us all the information we could need for our trip. She made herself always available to us and was really great about communicating. The apartment itself was stunning! The pictures don't do it justice. It is well-located in a nice area called the 9 Straatjes with a lot of great local restaurants and shopping! You're right on the canal which can't be beat (note that because it's a canal house, you have a bit of walk up to the apartment but just think of it as a little workout)! The bathroom is modern and lovely, the kitchen just right with all modern appliances (the Nespresso machine was amazing!) and the bed is super comfortable. I loved the apartment.

I have to note that Lisa and Peter Paul really floored us with their hospitality. They brought us pastries one morning that we were up early which was so nice of them. When we asked where they got them, so as to take some pastries with us after our early check-out, they surprised us with loads of pastries for our journey. It was so unexpected and so generous. They were really wonderful!

I hope to return to Amsterdam and would love to stay in Lisa and Peter Paul's apartment. FIVE STARS!

  • I don't think I could say enough nice things about Lisa and Peter Paul and their beautiful apartment. They are the most hospitable and approachable people and went far beyond what I was ever expecting from our time in Amsterdam. We travelled (my boyfriend and I) and stayed for my 25th birthday and we were surprised with champagne, pastries, coffee and balloons at our door on the morning of and evening before my birthday. It was such a beautiful surprise, and even throughout the duration of our stay they made themselves available and open to anything we might need. They had made an incredible effort to highlight places in the city they liked to visit or eat at so that we might get a local experience. The apartment itself was a pleasure to stay in and is located in the Nine Streets where everything is at your doorstep. Everything was exactly like the description and was much bigger than we were expecting. We were also lucky to catch the last of the Christmas markets - an overall beautiful, new experience for us. We loved Amsterdam! Thank you Lisa and Peter Paul, again, for everything!

  • The apartment is great and well located. I only met Peter and he was a great host. The only downside is the flight Of stairs, the apartment is on the third floor and there are no elevator. But besides that everything was perfect.

  • This was a great apartment with a great location and great hosts! As the other reviews mention, there are treats on your arrival, next day's breakkfast at the door and a list of things to do in the city. The aparmtment is quiet, clean and comfortable (and up lots of stairs!). Lisa and Peter give you as much privacy or company as you need. We loved it here :)
