Our 3 bedroom hilltop 1950’s home with wonderful views of the capital and city of Des Moines is the perfect place for your stay. Nestled just south of downtown in a quiet historic Italian neighborhood, you are within walking distance from a world class brewery, bars, restaurants and miles of walking and biking trails surrounding Gray’s Lake. We are within a few miles of everything else that the downtown area of Des Moines has to offer!

The space
Our home features a newly renovated space featuring a full kitchen with all of the amenities, a full bath with bathtub and shower, 3 bedrooms, a finished basement, a sunroom overlooking the back yard and ample room for making it everything you need for a great stay! The style is eclectic and modern while leaving some of the unique touches that give this home it’s 1950’s charm.
The entire home is all yours during your stay. The outdoor space includes a spacious patio and tree-lined yard overlooking downtown Des Moines that is sure to be a highlight of the space when the leaves are falling! Take an early morning stroll around Gray’s Lake, cozy in with a cup of coffee on our patio or adventure out into our beautiful city.
The space
 Bedroom 1-3 are on the main level of the home. High quality linens, etc.
 Fully furnished basement includes: couch and sitting area with tv. Extra table for seating or perfect game playing spot. Washer and dryer.
 Outdoor space includes: furnished patio with grill, fire pit with chairs
 Featured local businesses that are within walking distance of: Grays Lake, Grateful Chef, La Baja Cocina Mexican, Confluence Brewery, Angry Goldfish Restaurant, Starbucks, St. Kilda, Graziano’s Italian Grocery Store, Principal Park (home of the Iowa Cubs), The Science Center of Iowa, El Bait Shop restaurant and bar (featuring over 200 craft beers on tap), many local Italian eateries and so much more. All of our favorites are listed in a book that’s in the home we have created for you to peruse and find what you would like to explore.
