This is a 3 bedroom house, I stay in one room, and the other two rooms are available. This listing is for a 200 square foot guest room with a Queen sized bed. The house has a large yard, and plenty of parking. Easy access to everything - beach, park, shopping, nightlife! This is a 60 year old beach house, it has a lot of charm, and a view of downtown and the bay (fireworks from SeaWorld when the season is right). The house is on the hill and south facing so there is a little extra sun as compared to being right at the beach, where it could be overcast.
This is a very central location for San Diego. Close to the airport & downtown (both within 15 min drive), shopping malls, and tourist attractions. You will find it is really easy to access the freeways and it's very easy to get to the beach.
I have bikes you can borrow. You are welcome to help yourself to fruit, cereal, and juice for breakfast. The kitchen/fridge are available to you, but I do prefer if you don't prepare meat because I am vegetarian. I have nothing against carnivores; I've done my share of carnivoring in my day. You can bring in takeout or have some cold cuts.
I clean all bedding and towels within 24 hours of arrival.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
Full kitchen, bathroom, yard, bikes, WIFI.
This is a very safe neighborhood. The house is on one block surrounded by navy housing with 24 hour security. There are no houses on the other side of the street. There is always plenty of parking on the street (which can be a hassle for a lot of beach area homes). The house has a nice view of the bay, downtown, and the Sea World fireworks.
I am quiet after 10pm and I expect the same. No extra guests without my approval. I prefer if there is no meat prepared in the house but you are welcome to bring already cooked meats in.
I was in San Diego for work and decided to stay an extra night to enjoy the beach. Max and the other guests were friendly and the place worked great. Thanks!
Despite some changes that were made in my itinerary (in part due to a cancelled flight), Max was really accommodating and helpful! The room was just as described, and there were even a few perks like Lyft tickets and San Diego maps on the nightstand that weren't mentioned in the room description! I'd definitely stay there again :)
Max was an awesome host! This was my first Airbnb experience and I will definitely be using the service again. Our room was exactly as described everything was clean and ready to go. Max was very informative and was able to accommodate our schedule without a hitch. It felt more like coming home then being out of town. Thanks again Max. Good vibes all around.
Max was always reachable via SMS/e-mail, has a nice house in a beautiful neighborhood and the room was clean. -> Satisfied in every respect
Max was very kind and helpful in our stay. The house and room was very clean upon arrival and everything in the description was spot on. Would definitely stay here again!
My experience with Max's house was awesome, not only because the house was likable, but because of Max himself. He was super friendly, helpful, and informative about what is good to do in the area.
He had lots of musical instrument at home, and encouraged me to learn music, specifically trumpet, since I could make the noise at the first try!
I also had a lot of fun biking his bike across the shore! It was awesome!
Cool house and cool guy! Do not hesitate to book Max's house!

I'm an easy going guy originally from Ohio, lived in San Diego for 10+ years. Love the beach and the outdoors, and am always surfing and biking. I like to eat healthy, enjoy cooking and am an amateur gardener. I play music in a couple of ensembles in San Diego and teach middle school guitar.
