Gary was an amazing host. By far exceeded our expectations on hospitality from start to finish. His home was warming and his dog so kind. We stayed there for a week and it's location was perfect for anyone visiting to snowboard as all the ski mountains are a short bus ride away. Thank you again Gary for everything ! We'll see you again im sure
Gary's place was awesome, and very accommodating. The home is convenient to Breckenridge, and the sweet pup is worth the money. Gary was great for conversation, as an added benefit!
House is well situated for access to local ski areas and other outdoor activities. The house is well maintained and Gary was super helpful with any questions. The bathroom is shared with other guests, however there weren't any others when i was there. Gary also provided full kitchen usage/privileges and made coffee in the mornings.
Gary was a great host and made us feel welcome in his home. We used both the bedroom and Murphy bed and everything was as described in the listing. The space was comfortable and clean and the house is very conveniently located to the Summit County resorts. We enjoyed our stay with Gary, and would return again in the future!
Very friendly host who is very welcoming of his guests and makes them feel right at home. Was always very interactive and offered lots of advice and tips about the area. Very comfortable private room and nice amenities in the house. Also a great location that is very convenient for all local ski areas. Would definitely stay again!

Went to college and became a New York City Police Officer, Lakewood (CO) Police Agent, Summit County Undersheriff, County Coroner, County Commissioner and Colorado State Representative. I have taught at Metro State University in Denver, Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood and Colorado Mountain College in Breckenridge and Dillon. I have five earned college degrees in English, History, Management, Psychology and Human Communication.
The five things I can't live without.
1. My family.
4. Summit County, Colorado.
5. Spicy food.
My favorite travel destinations.
Mexico, Guatemala and Ecuador
I prefer non-fiction books. Historical biographies and recent academic studies.
I really do not watch movies. The entire industry has become very poor. If a movie gets outstanding reviews I might go see it prior to the Academy Awards.
I like all kinds of music without respect to the type of music.
I will eat any and all kinds of food. I really do not have a preference.
As a host I offer a life of varied experience. I have lived and worked all over the world except in Asia. I spent most of my life as a police officer and have taught at the college level since 1970. I teach a total of 27 different subjects and truly enjoy all of them. I get paid to teach but if I were not paid I would still teach for free. I moved to Colorado in 1970 and have lived in the mountains most of that time.
I am very open minded and liberal. I believe that people should be able to live their personal lifestyle without criticism or judgement.
As a host I feel it is my role to help guests as much as possible and to be a resource into the Colorado Mountains and Summit County.
My life motto is to "Take it easy" and let what will be alone.
