  • We had a delightful stay at Mariana's. It was just all we really needed. It is small and the futon bed was not the most comfortable, but by the time we got there it didn't matter. We were always exhausted from sun and fun! The coffee pot was a welcome amenity each morning!! We would definitely stay there again.

    Hi Doug,
I am sorry we couldn't connect during the days you were here but there is a mini fridge outside. Thank you for your feedback! Mariana

  • We really enjoyed our stay with Mariana and Carlos. Princeville is beautiful and a short drive from the hikes and beaches of Hanalei. The space was cozy, relaxing, and clean. Mariana provided every amenity we needed, including fresh towels, a fridge, and even coffee. We especially loved watching the sunset from the nearby cliffs. Perfect for a couple looking to explore the Na Pali coast.

  • Mariana's studio was a wonderful affordable option for us to stay in Princeville. The accommodations are modest but the kitchenette appliances (fridge, coffee, microwave) helped a lot. It's a lovely area and just a short walk to Queen's Bath. Thanks to Mariana for being a helpful and communicative host!

    Response from Mariana:

I am sorry I have a fan that I could have given you. Someone broke it a few weeks ago and we fixed it and I still did not put it back because it was not needed during the rainy season. Thank you for reminding me! Mariana

  • You have your own entrance. A nice room for a single traveller. The bathroom is big and has a nice shower. There are camping chairs, walking sticks and you have a toaster and a coffee cooker you can use. The location is very good to the different beaches and walking trails. Queens bath is just down the street. I truly can recommend it.

  • Mariana's place is small but comfortable, and really all I needed as a single traveler. I found the apartment to be an ideal base from which to explore the North Shore from Ke'e to Kilauea . Only three nights were available when I booked, and later in my vacation I found myself wishing I was still there.

  • This is a nice studio in a great location on Kauai. We were close to some of the best beaches and hiking in Kauai, and since it's small island, even getting to places on the southside was not difficult.

Additionally, the place was well stocked with towels, beach supplies, and other nice amenities. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place.

As the other reviews said, of course, it is pretty small, so definitely not recommended for more than 2 people. But for 2 people, it was small, but comfortable. Also, the bathroom is huge.

  • Mariana and her family were sweet hosts and the location in Princeville was AMAZING..just where we wanted to ocean view, but very close walk to the ocean! A little smaller than the picture looked for two singles...better for a couple..we had to share a bed in a very small space, but we made do. Very affordable and clean. Upperclass area, near St Regis Hotel, on beautiful grounds of Princeville estates, walking trails, Queens bath, and Foodland marketplace.

  • The studio is located in a nice residential neighborhood in Princeville, within walking distance to Queens Bath and 5 min driving to St. Regis. The room is meant for one person (it can fit two if necessary), with an extendable futon and not a lot of space to move around. It has direct access to the backyard, which is very pleasant. It is a clean, convenient place to crash at the end of an active day, but not so much to relax and spend extra time. Mariana is a nice and accommodating host.

  • Mariana and her family were so nice and accommodating! They were so helpful with suggestions for places to surf & hike. The studio was our base camp for a week of exploring Kauai. It was small but cozy and had everything we needed. Thanks for everything!!

I like to travel with my family to South America to visit my family and my husband's family. I am from Argentina and my husband is from Uruguay. We have two children and we enjoy seeing our kids enjoy and be part of the culture that we grew up in. We have been living in Hawaii for many years but we still miss and carry with us many of the customs that were part of our lives when we lived there.
