-It is a 5 min walk to Parliament Square where you have Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament with the Big (website hidden) James's Park is on the other side of the square and just accross Westminster Bridge you have the London Eye.
-Tate Britain is down the street in the other direction and the museums at Trafalgar Square are in walking distance, 15min from Parliament Square.
-Buckingham Palace is a short walk away, behind St James's Park.
-The London Eye is a pleasant walk away along the river, via Lambeth Bridge to avoid the crowds on Westminster Bridge.
-There is a bus stop in front of the building that takes you direct to Parliament Sq,
Picadilly Circus and
Oxford Street, what more would you want..
If you like walking you can get to most places from here within an hours walk.
With regards to length of stay, please just drop me an email and I can give you more information on location and things in the area as well.
Bed: 1 bed, 2 adults only:
There is one king size bed (the couch is not a bed) and therefore the flat is suitable for a single person or couple.
Looking for a great hotel room at good value but a better accommodation?
Modern refurbished large studio of 39sqm with
-lots of light,
-a French balcony,
-bathroom with large bath and
-a king size bed.
(make yourself at home and take of shoes please, no heels and no suitcases scratching floor/leater furniture)
-no high heels, the oak floor is quite new
-no kids or babies: the building and neighbors won't appreciate this and we have to respect their potential issues with noise.
-not more than 2 guests, it is a very quiet building with more elderly people than young people.
It is a very safe and secure area.
Buckingham Palace is a 15 Minute walk through the beautiful St James Park or via Whitehall, passing Downing Street and into The Mall with the Palace facing you.
The which stops in front of the building takes you to Oxford Street and basically is a perfect tour bus passing Trafalger Sq, Picadilly Circus, Oxford Circus and Camden Town, but for £1.20 (maybe more now)
Facilities include 24 Hour Porter and security. The building is known for its security and I would certainly like to respect this so my preference is to have a quiet couple staying, without children.
-no kids unfortunately, not suitable for the flat and the building.
-no washing machine

Very clean and with good atmosphere.
Perfect for 1-2 people traveling to London.
Overall the place and Esther were great! The place was clean and Esther was easy to contact with any questions we had. The place was perfectly sized for 2 travelers.
I did find that the 5 minutes from Big Ben was more like 15 minutes walking. However, there were numerous Tube and train stations within walking distance, making it very easy to get around.
The bed was large, but quite uncomfortable. There were numerous springs that were felt right through.
Overall a great stay with a great host!
Small and cozy. If your from England, you might be able to walk to Big Ben in 5 minutes. We timed ourselves several times and we averaged 15 minutes. This apartment doesn't have any free wifi and the bed is a little hard but it's in a great location and seems very safe. It's very very quiet. It's easy to get to from the airport. We never had to take a taxi.
Esther was fantastic with communication and instructions. The apartment is in a fantastic location, was clean and exactly how it was described. We enjoyed staying at the apartment, so much so we asked to extend our stay. This was no problem and Esther even came over to re-clean and change bed sheets which she didn't have to, Would stay here again.
Our first experience of airbnb and a very positive one. Esther was a great host- very welcoming and good at making sure we were squared away with anything we needed. The apartment was perfect for two people to use as a rest stop while visiting London; great location and is just the right size. If I was going back to London for another short stay I'd shoot her an email before I checked anywhere else.
Quaint and conveniently located in the heart of London.
The flat is just the right size for two people, and the location is fantastic as well. Esther is very prompt with communication responses and very helpful with recommendations, in addition to being a very friendly host. Would highly recommend!
We didn't get to meet Esther communication was via emails very prompt with a response. Esther's Apartment was fantastic had everything you needed. The location was walking distant to all of the major attractions would definitely stay here again.
Esther was wonderful.
My daughter arranged for me to stay at Esther's place and it was a gem! It was my first time to London but it won't be the last! Esther's flat is cozy, cute and in a convenient location. I would recommend her place to friends and family! Thanks for having me. :-)
