  • Forrygende god lejlighed på East Mary i SoCo, tip-top moderne, velindrettet og tæt på det meste du kommer til Austin for at opleve. Alt fungerede og værtsparret opmærksomme på dig som gæst.

Tremendous apartment/house at East Mary in SoCo, tip-top modern, well-equipped and close to what you get to Austin to experience. Everything worked and the hosts pay attention to you as a guest.

  • We have stayed in four wonderful property rentals over the past month and this one in Austin was the most high-tech, spotless, and well-stocked of them all! It is in a perfect location on a quiet street, just off the bustling South Congress Street. The kitchen has everything you could need (but who wants to cook when in Austin?!), the bathroom has all the supplies you might have forgotten at home, the beds are comfortable, and it is a light and airy home. Perfect for the four of us -- we only wish we could have stayed longer! Denise and Kumar are very nice people to deal with and most helpful in any situation. We HIGHLY recommend a stay here!

  • Fantastic! What more can we say. We were visiting from the UK and as we know Austin quite well we knew that this would be an ideal base for us. Not only is the location fantastic - just off South Congress and close to our favourite cafes, bars and restaurants - but the house was amazing too. A real home from home with loads of extra touches to make our stay just perfect. The equipment is top notch with use of iPad, Apple computer, Sonos sound system and TVs. The furnishings and décor are great and the whole place is clean and well organised. Denise and Kumar are very friendly and very helpful. Highly Recommended!

  • Our stay at Denise's place was wonderful! She is so thoughtful- I asked her about baking pans and she bought a muffin tin for us to use. The apartment was filled with sweet touches like that- soft towels, beautiful linens, and great light. If you're looking for a cozy place close to everything good in Austin, you should definitely stay here. It was a dream!

  • This was a weekend I will never forget! The location was amazing, we walked to mostly everything and even used the bus a couple of times which was very easy, convenient, and cheap! The house was spotless and everything seemed brand new. The beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept in! Denise was so helpful and easy to reach if we ever needed anything - the guidebook she provided for us included such great suggestions that really made our trip complete.

  • Everything was totally impeccable , two nice bedrooms , a 'high tech' living room ( complete with computer, i pad...)and a fully equipped kitchen, which tempted us to do some cooking, even though all the nice bars and restaurants of SOCO were literally just around the corner...Austin itself is definitely worth while a visit, we enjoyed it so much that we're thinking about coming back for more!

  • Perfect apartment in a perfect location from which to explore Austin. The apartment is amazingly clean and well stocked with everything you could ever need. Denise was so helpful including doing a load of washing for us! We couldn't have asked for better accommodation.
The apartment is right around the corner from all the shops and restaurants on South Congress as well as multiple buses into downtown.
    Highly recommend!

  • Great property! Comfortable and beautifully finished, and walkable from great shopping and restaurants on South Congress. This was a perfect place to stay!

  • The condo was perfect for our girls weekend and is in a great location in the SoCo area. It's modern and very clean. Denise was great and super responsive to our questions and provided great recommendations for the area. I would definitely stay here again!

  • The unit itself is very well maintained and felt safe and secure up on the second floor. Nice touches included a computer, iPad, local area guides, a full kitchen, and bathroom with things you may have forgotten to bring. I have to admit I dipped into the candy jar once or twice, too.

Denise was very responsive to questions and made the stay very easy. We were grateful for the extra time to check out (only available if no one checking in that day).

The location was great for us to be able to spend time with friends who lived nearby. Austin is very spread out, and walking isn't much of an option in the city, so you're going to have to drive to most places you want to go. As a result, there are a lot of cars on the road and traffic is gnarly. South Congress Ave has lots of bars if that's your thing, and South 1st St has some places to walk to too if you like ice cream (Dolce Neve) or donuts (Gourdough's).

We didn't get a chance to, but wanted to use the new bike sharing system (B-Cycle, (website hidden)). The closest bike pod is about four blocks north, with a total of eight bikes available. Most of the pods are north of the river in the downtown area, so if you want to bike to downtown, you can. South Congress Ave is supposedly a bike route, but the road is wide, cars travel fast and bike lanes are faded, so be careful biking. But at $8 for 24-hours of use (or $25 for a 7-day pass), it's a cheap way to get around.
