Great property! Comfortable and beautifully finished, and walkable from great shopping and restaurants on South Congress. This was a perfect place to stay!
The condo was perfect for our girls weekend and is in a great location in the SoCo area. It's modern and very clean. Denise was great and super responsive to our questions and provided great recommendations for the area. I would definitely stay here again!
The unit itself is very well maintained and felt safe and secure up on the second floor. Nice touches included a computer, iPad, local area guides, a full kitchen, and bathroom with things you may have forgotten to bring. I have to admit I dipped into the candy jar once or twice, too.
Denise was very responsive to questions and made the stay very easy. We were grateful for the extra time to check out (only available if no one checking in that day).
The location was great for us to be able to spend time with friends who lived nearby. Austin is very spread out, and walking isn't much of an option in the city, so you're going to have to drive to most places you want to go. As a result, there are a lot of cars on the road and traffic is gnarly. South Congress Ave has lots of bars if that's your thing, and South 1st St has some places to walk to too if you like ice cream (Dolce Neve) or donuts (Gourdough's).
We didn't get a chance to, but wanted to use the new bike sharing system (B-Cycle, (website hidden)). The closest bike pod is about four blocks north, with a total of eight bikes available. Most of the pods are north of the river in the downtown area, so if you want to bike to downtown, you can. South Congress Ave is supposedly a bike route, but the road is wide, cars travel fast and bike lanes are faded, so be careful biking. But at $8 for 24-hours of use (or $25 for a 7-day pass), it's a cheap way to get around.
What a perfect spot! It was immaculately clean, the beds were extremely comfortable and location was right on point. Denise was super helpful and nice. We were stoked to use a sound system, TV & computer! We will try to book this spot next time we come for sure! Highly recommended !
Great location, wonderful hosts, great house!! All you could need and more, highly recommended!! We loved Austin and could not have stayed in a better place. Thanks heaps to Denise and Kumar!!
We really enjoyed our stay at Denise's! She's communicative, willing to help, and easy to reach. Top notch hospitality and the photos are very representative of the actual space. Location was great as well!
Great location a great space. All the amenities you could ever want; VERY comfortable bed and mattress; cozy sheets; and a great experience and host (we were greeted by a great bottle of wine on our first night). Would recommend to friends and will be back when coming through Austin.
Beautiful space in very prime Austin location; clean, very comfortable beds; had a fantastic stay and would rent the spot without hesitation should i again find myself in Austin. Plus Denise is cool; that's always a plus
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Denise's home. My best friend, her boyfriend, my boyfriend and I decided to visit Austin for New Years and instead of getting hotel rooms, we opted for an Airbnb. This place was perfect and so reasonably priced. The apartment had very new appliances, was impeccably clean when we arrived, and had such comfortable furniture (beds, couches, etc) that it really felt like home away from home. The best part was having a kitchen fully stocked with silverware, plates, pots/pans, coffeemaker, etc so instead of eating out every night, we were able to have leisurely breakfasts and dinners when we wanted.
Thanks, Denise, for providing such a lovely setting for a memorable New Years. I will definitely recommend your place to everyone I know who will be visiting Austin -- it's perfect!
We had a fantastic stay here. The house is clean, updated and well stocked for a great vacation, not to mention an amazing location. We were very impressed! Thanks Denise!
