We had such a lovely time. The house is so close to the heart of everything and Tom is a fantastic host. Tom had a great deal of patience with uncontrollable scheduling issues and even picked us up from the airport. Both the house and Tom were warm, friendly and open. A pleasant stay and would recommend highly.
Our visit to Nantucket is a testament to Airbnb and the caliber of its hosts. The night before we arrived, our host Tom called us to say that a sudden emergency had compelled him to lodge his own family in his house -- but that he had arranged for us to stay in a fellow Airbnb host's cottage, two doors down the street, at no extra charge for the upgrade. One host helped another, and we the guests benefited. Despite the emergency, at three other points in our two-day stay, Tom helped us navigate the island. We came to see that Nantucketers go out of their way to make even us outsiders feel at home. It also didn't hurt that Tom lives on what we consider the most charming street in Nantucket Town, within a 5-minute walk of Main Street.
Thomas is a wonderful welcoming host and the house has its unique New England charm. My daughter and I stayed in the room on the third floor when in town for my stepson's wedding and the location couldn't have been better! It is very close to main street and the harbor, to shops, restaurants, bars and markets. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean also. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great experience in Nantucket!
Thomas is a wonderfully pleasant host and his home is located within easy walking distance to the heart of historic Nantucket. The house and room was comfortable and clean, and had a lot of historical charm. I travel the country each week for work, and am particular about cleanliness. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room we stayed in. We will definitely stay here again.
Thomas was a great host! The house could not have been in a better location!
Thomas is a wonderful host- a true New Englander (straight-shooting) and 13th generation Nantucketer.
The house is quaint and a stone's throw from Main Street.
He made my 1st AirBnB experience a pleasure. Thanks for everything!
Tom had a great knowledge of the island and its history. He is great to chat with and made us a nice cup of coffee. A wonderful way to stay in an authentic home within walking distance of everything we needed.
