  • We stayed at Carol and David's house for 3 nights and it was amazing! David has been away but Carol was a truly great host. Very friendly and open. Staying with our little son wasn't a problem at all, he loved the little dogs and other farm animals around. Carol is a super chef, too. Book her dinners, they are delicious, real and absolutely affordable.

  • I arrived at 23:00 and was given a friendly greeting by Carol. The room was really comfortable and has a wonderful south facing view over the mountains. Breakfasts were invariably amazing and so filling that I went without lunch two of the days. Carol cooked a beef stew for me one night and it was absolutely delicious. The house is very cosy and set in such beautiful surroundings. I can't recommend it more highly. If you are going to use sat nav to get there then I suggest grabbing the latitude and longitude from (website hidden) Maps and programming your device with them, which will take you to the front door.

  • Caroline was a kind a accommodating host who made you feel at home. Breakfast was a treat with fresh Duck eggs and homemade marmalade. Very nice being in a country setting and very quiet peaceful environment. Best to travel during the day and have detailed road directions to find Farm house. Overall a pleasant and delightful experience. Would love to come back to take the time to explore the hidden treasures of the area. Local pub in Tarland had a local night of music and singing.

  • We only stayed for a night but we really appreciate the lovable place so quiet and panoramic.
Carol is really nice, sociabile and a great cooker, the breakfast was the best we did in Scotland.

  • The views from Carol and David's farmhouse in the Scottish countryside are stunning. It's a little bit 'off the beaten track' but once you arrive there's a warm welcome to greet you and the freedom to come and go as you please.

Carol is friendly, sociable and relaxed. She makes sure you are happy but you are not hovered over so you can enjoy this idyllic rural location.

  • I had a great stay at Carol house, even if I sank a little bit in the mud during my litlle trip in the arounds of the farmhouse, hopefully i could clean my boots outside the house. Carol was a very lovely host and very gentle, I also met some of her friends very lovely as well. Totally recommend if you want to stay in a very wonderfull and calm place. I'm looking to come back soon.

  • We had a fantastic time at our stay at the farmhouse in Migvie with Carol! The house was great and had stunning country side views. Carol cooked an amazing breakfast and we took her up on her offer to do dinner for us, which was also an incredible meal. If we ever visit Scotland again we would definately stay here a second time!
