  • Villa Santo Antônio

This is a working hotel with a bar on their deck. I recommend it for the incredible view and the gorgeous space they have. The service is not top-notch, so just be aware.

  • D'Venetta

This is an under-the-radar bar (they purposefully dont even have a sign outside) that serves cold beer and good food. Inside, its a cross between a museum and a flea market: full of treasures!
Rua dos Adobes Salvador BA 40301-490
  • Cafélier

This is a beautiful European-style café with delicious pastries, coffees and even meals. It has a gorgeous view onto the bay and is also the home to a cute tea-cup exhibit.
Rua do Carmo Salvador BA 40301-380
  • A Cubana

This is, in my opinion, the best ice cream in Salvador. They also have a great açai for anyone interested in trying a bowl of the blended fruit. Sanwiches and snacks are also available there.
Rua das Portas do Carmo Salvador BA 40026-290
  • Fundação Balé Folclórico da Bahia(Mastre Jogo De Dentro)

Going to the Balé Folclórico is a must. In a short performance that leaves time for other things that night, youll see some of the most traditional forms of dance + movement in afro-Brazilian culture
    R. Maciel de Baixo Salvador BA 40026-240
  • MAM Museu de Arte Moderna da Bahia

Every Saturday at sundown, the Museum of Modern Art puts on an outdoor jazz show on the water. The musicians are excellent. I recommend going to see the sunset and staying for the concert. Ends early.
