Hey there! My name is Natalie and I am a long timr airbnb host looking to help make somebodies stay in NY fun, exciting, comfortable but most of all affordable!. This deal is an absolute steal and the location is, in my opinion, one of a kind!! The apt is a very spacious three bedroom apt with a huge shared eat in kitchen, (room for 6 people to eat). The kitchen comes with everything you need, all appliances necessary. It also has one in a half bathrooms. The apt is on the 3rd floor and has an elevator in the building. This place is ideal for a single person or couple that is looking to Vacation in NYC and does not want to spend NYC hotel prices.
I have two roommates. I normally rent out when one of us is out of town but When we're all here this is the deal...One is NEVER HOME because of school and the other roommate is my boyfriend who shares my space, he's always gone during the day as he is a teacher! I myself am an artist and do lots of different things to keep my life interesting and fun! I tour, take care of kids, bar tend and Host airbnb guests! I love learning about people's travels and where they come from. Through airbnb I have made great connection and even some really wonderful friends!
Here is a little bit about the location of the apt. This apt is located right off the B,Q stop at Prospect park in Brooklyn. The train basically drops you off at the front door. No commute!! It's 4 stops into BK from manhattan, and a 15 min subway ride to Union Square and 25 min to Time square. Prospect park is our front yard! Across the street we have our favorite bar, Lincoln Tavern, very hip and cool, Endouro restaurant is right next store, some of the best mexican food in all NY, our coffee shop (tugboat tea) right on the corner, a local pharmacy and brand new organic grocery store across the street. So you see, everything you need is on our street!
The rooms are HUGE, 12x18 and is fully furnished with Queen bed, desk, chest of draws, bookshelf's and a large closet space... Also, two windows which provide lots of sun light. We have heat and also a portable heater if you need a little extra, AC as well. Wifi and all utilities are all include in the stay. You will be provided with clean towels and bedding at the beginning of your stay. We take a lot of pride and joy in the unique, cool decor of our home and we hope you enjoy it too! See pictures for details!

So many things near by! Prospect part is the main attraction! The most beautiful park in NY in my opinion. You can go hiking and exploring for hours here. Lakes, ponds, waterfalls, brittle trails, open fields, beautiful greenery and nature paths. Also you have coffee shops, cafes, bars, organic grocery store, pharmacy, laundry and right on this block! Barclays center is two stops away, Botanical Gardens in walking distance, and BK Library is about a half mile from us!
The B Q and Shuttle are all right in front of my apt. No Commute to the trains!
We are pretty easy going over here! The only things we ask are that you PLEASE clean up after yourself, if you are a smoker don't smoke in the house and let us know if you will be having company. Other then that we are a pretty easy going bunch!
Natalie was a really nice host. She told me one week before our trip that there was a problem with the room, but she helped us and found another accomodation for me and my friend.
She arranged our stay at a friend's house. The "new" room was very nice and clean and big, the neighborhood was the same so we have have been happy with our new accomodation. The only negative thing that I can say is that the bathroom was a bit old and small but for 3 nights it was okay.
Natalie was always in contact with us and I really reccomand staying with her!
The reservation was canceled 21 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Natalie was great! She made sure everything was in order for my stay. Great communication, great room, great location. Overall a great way to introduce me to this site. If you're new to Airbnb or have used it often, I highly recommend working with Natalie as a host.
Stayed in Natalie's apartment for a few days in early October. Getting technicalities out of the way first, the apartment is conveniently located directly across from the subway station (not directly as in 2 blocks but actually directly). The location is safe and people in the neighborhood are friendly and genuinely excited about where they live, something not to take for granted in New York City. Beyond that, the apartment is clean, quite large and comfortable. It feels like a real, living home. Natalie and her roommates are warm and just, simply put, good, real folk. They care about each other and what they're doing with their lives and though they all come from different places in the country (and canada), if you're looking for what new york is about, you'll find it here. As a bonus, Natalie and her roommate also make wildly interesting and creative cocktails of all sorts. Just ask away.
The room was exactly as advertised, clean and spacious. Unfortunately, I did not get to meet Natalie, as she was on a trip, but her roommates were very nice and met me early in the morning to give me my key. It is a 3 bedroom so the other 2 girls were there, but still I felt I had plenty of privacy, I think in part to the fact there is no common room so the only place to run into each other is the kitchen. They were really cool about letting me use part of the fridge for food too, which was nice. My experience was really great overall and I would definitely consider staying here again in the future. I highly recommend saying here. One thing to be aware of, and it really didn't bother me at in the slightest, but the building itself often smells quite strongly of weed, though not in this apartment.
My flight wasn't on time, so i arrived at 1 am in Brooklyn and Natalie had been very patient and understanding, i really appreciated it because i feel embarrassed to be late... I didn't see her first days, she wasn't at home when i was, but she sent me messages to be sure that everything was ok, i knew she was present if i had any question or any problem. It was really reassuring for me !
The bedroom was GREAT, the decoration is just perfect, i feel like home, it could be my bedroom, moreover Natalie has inspiring books she lent me. The bed was so comfortable and the atmosphere in the apartment is so welcoming and peaceful !
The apartment is well located ! The subway station is just in front of the building, it was so easy to go to Manhattan, the neighborhood is good, you can find coffeeshops and groceries, Prospect Park is next to the apartment !
Natalie has 2 roomates, i just met Morgan, she was so adorable, i had great conversations with her, i spent my last evening with her and her boyfriend in Prospect Park, it was nice and i enjoyed this moment :) Unfortunately, i didn't met the new roomate :/ And Dunkin is so sweet, it's impossible to not like him.
I highly recommend this charming vacation bedroom, i feel lucky to meet these girls and to find this wonderful place. Natalie offered me to stay more longer, but i refused because i booked another bedroom by Airbnb, i didn't want to make it complicated (cancellation, repayment, money transfer etc.) but i kinda regret now because i couldn't find a better place !
If i come back to NY, i'm sure to contact Natalie for my "next episode".
