THE PROPERTY
You will first drive up to the private drive that goes across the creek down a long driveway that leads to the 4.2-acre property. The home is far away from other homes and the backyard is totally private and filled with the sounds of nature.
This house offers an on-site fully enclosed dog agility park where your pet can play, exercise, have fun, and burn off some energy. We have cozy accommodations at his property for both guests and their pets.
The backyard boasts plenty of space to play and roam, tell stories around the fire pit, swing in the tree swings or hammock while watching the kids play on the playground.
You can enjoy a late night bon fire or sit under the stars and take it all in. Guest can access the BBQ grill for those summer months (propane will be provided).
Little ones can have fun on the children's swing and on the hammock located under the trees.
THE HOME
Purchased in 2022 and fully remodeled, you will enjoy modern design and brand-new kitchen and bathrooms with all new appliances. The open and airy kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials you will need to prepare everything from a simple home cooked meal to a large luxurious feast.
You will have access to many kitchen appliances such as an air fryer, both a traditional coffee maker as well as a Keurig, blender and food processor in addition to pots, pans, baking sheets and all of the necessary cooking utensils, silverware, and dishes, to help make your stay more comfortable.
The family room has a 55" smart TV for your viewing pleasures, mounted above the eye-catching electric fireplace for those cold winter nights.
The washroom has a full washer and dryer for your convenience. We provide laundry soap and dryer sheets for your convenience.
LIVING SPACES
The main living room has an electric fireplace and large TV just adjacent to the dining room and kitchen, perfect for gathering & entertaining.
There is a 3-car converted garage with games & plenty of space to hang out and play.
ROOMS
Room #1
The master bedroom (located upstairs) has a king size bed, a sofa bed, and a floor mattress. It has a large smart TV, reading nook, and a spacious full bathroom with a separate shower and a deep luxurious soaking tub. Enjoy your beverage of choice, or simply soak the beautiful scenery on the private balcony that wraps alongside the home.
Room #2 & #3
Located on the main floor you will find bedrooms #2 with two double beds. Bedroom #3 has a King bed and a blow-up mattress. This bedroom also has a 55" Roku TV. Both bedrooms have a conjoined Jack and Jill bathroom with a separate vanity area with 2 sinks.
In room #2 you will find a rollaway twin bed.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire property with the exception of the shed that is separate from the house.
There is parking for up to 6 cars in the driveway.
Other things to note
~ Minimum age to rent is 25 and primary guest must stay for the duration of the booking.
~ A photo ID to verify age at the time of booking is required to finalize your reservation.
~ A rental contract must be signed online via your email address within 24 hours of booking. Please review the sample contract attached prior to booking.
~ Your cleaning fee includes a $2500 damage waiver policy to cover accidental damage. Exclusions apply.
~ This home is on a septic system, so occupancy is strictly enforced to avoid a septic backup of sewage into the house. Your max occupancy during your booking is what you submit in your booking. Additional guests must be approved.
~ Stays longer than 2 weeks:
We require a light cleaning every 2 weeks in addition to the checkout cleaning. (prices TBD)
ANIMALS
~ Dogs are considered, only when pre-approved prior to booking. Max 2 dogs per stay.
~ Pet fee is $150 for the 1st dog, 2nd dog free. 7-night max. Cats are not considered due to severe allergies.
~ Dogs must stay off of the furniture and bedding. If your dogs are used to being on the sofa or bed, please bring your own coverings to protect the furniture.
(Service & emotional support animals must be disclosed prior to booking)
Pet Fee is waived only for legitimate service or emotional support animals in which the animals are never left behind without the owner. Evidence that the animals were left behind will result in the pet fee being charged.
Please note that in California, pretending to be an owner of a service dog is a criminal misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $1,000 (and/or up to six months imprisonment).
CANCELLATION POLICY
Our rental contract will specify that GUEST can cancel at any time regardless of the Airbnb cancellation policy. If the GUEST cancels the reservation more than 48 hours after the initial booking (provided it is less than 14 days prior to arrival), the rent & host fees paid minus a [$75] administrative charge may be refunded if the same or partial dates are re-rented. If re-rented for lesser amount, the difference will not be refunded.
We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance to cover any losses.
NOISE ORDINANCE:
This is a family home. We encourage our guests to have fun, but please be respectful of our very sweet neighbors who appreciate peace and quiet and keep the noise to a minimum at all times. Even though we are far away from neighbors, noise has a way of carrying.
A noise & smoke monitoring device both inside and out will inform us if noise levels exceed those allowed by the city or cigarette / pot or vaping is present inside the house. We ask that you keep outdoor music family friendly and at appropriate levels as to not disrupt peace and quiet of the neighborhood. Everyone should be indoors by 10pm. These do not record audio; they simply detect decibel levels and cigarette or vaping smoke.
WILDLIFE & MAINTENANCE
Our home is in a rural residential neighborhood with a large lot and a lot of wildlife. You will often see deer roaming the streets and our property, squirrels, gophers and lizards in the front and back yard. Please do not feed or approach any wildlife. There will be a lot of insects, bugs and other creatures that give the property its wonderful relaxing country feel. While we stay on top of pest maintenance, we ask you to expect that bugs may enter the home when doors are left open, get tracked in on shoes and luggage and are part of life in the country. There will not be any refunds or cancellations in regard to normal bugs & wildlife. We appreciate your understanding of this.
We are not responsible for injuries on the property. Please also don’t allow your animals to roam unattended to avoid dangerous wildlife.
SAFETY CONSIDERATION:
Please read safety considerations at the bottom of this listing.
Please use a leash at all times unless in the dog run or bring a pen for off leash outside lounging for your dog. Keep track of droppings & pick up & dispose immediately. Pet bags are provided for your convenience.
OTHER:
Our area has frequent power outages in the hotter months. These outages typically last only 1-3 hours. We will provide you with any notifications we receive from the utility company. We appreciate your understanding if this happens during your stay.
