The Space

One room studio is for rent, when I'm not home. It is located in the quiet neighbourhood round Frederiksberg's public indoor swimming pool.

The area is the fancy part of Copenhagen with delicious take away and lots of shops nearby. The fantastic public garden Frederiksberg Have is within a small walk. And the the national Zoo is also nearby. It takes 6 minutes to walk to the nearest metro (Frederiksberg) and the centre of Copenhagen is only 10 minutes away.

The apartment is small but furnished optimal with nothing but trendy, nordic style IKEA-furnitures. Here is space for four people to sleep in the same room. Two is sleeping in a comfortable double-sized bed, and two is sleeping on a lesser comfortable sleeping couch.

Besides a hallway and a balcony there is a bath room and a fully equipped kitchen with dish washer. There is access to 40 tv-channels and wireless internet. Parking is possible in the neighbourhood at public parking lots.

Because you are renting the apartment, I am living in, it will be clean but not sterile as a hotel. The closet in the room will be filled with my stuff, but there is space for your luggage in the hallway or in a wooden box.

The apartment is perfect for the couple, who will explore Copenhagen, or the group of friends looking for a cheap place to stay.

  • We had a great stay at Rasmus appartement! I contacted him 24 h before our arrival at kopenhagen and he wrote back half an hour later! Contact with him was great!
The appartement is small, but cozy we felt at home! The location isn't super central, but it takes you only 10 minutes by bike to get to the city center! We stayed for 4 nights and didn!t really want to leave:)
    Thanks again!

  • Great location, friendly host, everything you need in the apartment. Had a great time, and enjoyed coming back to a relaxed apartment after an exciting day in copenhagen.

  • The apartment was great. It was bright and airy, equipped with everything we needed. Though the galley kitchen was quite small but there was no problem fitting two of us in when cooking or cleaning. The beds were comfy and the room was neat and nicely decorated. There was always hot water available and the new shower they had installed made it even better. The apartment is located in a lovely quiet area, very close to the metro and shops. The building itself is very safe, with a fob to get into the outer gate, then the outer door to the block and finally a key to the apartment. It's only a short 15 minute cycle into the center of Copenhagen from the apartment, so there's no problem getting around the city from the house. Rasmus was so helpful when conversing via email, he put together a (website hidden) map with directions to his house from the metro and the locations of various amenities.

  • The studio is exactly how it's shown in the pictures. Perfect for 2 people, on the 2nd floor of a building (there's no lift, but it wasn't a problem for us).
The placement is very nice, we really appreciated walking around Frederiksberg and the studio is very close to the metro station.
Communication with Rasmus also went very well, he answered quickly to our questions and gave us some good tips.
We would definately recommend staying in his studio!

  • I had a good stay in Rasmus' apartment. It was actually a bit bigger than I had guessed from the pictures. As Rasmus was not home at the time of my arrival, I met with his girlfriend who was waiting for me in the apartment. Contact to both him and her was very helpful and always nice. The location is perfect if you want to explore the city either by metro/on foot or on a bike. The only thing with possibilty to improve is cleanliness (only of the bathroom, mostly), but that is very subjective. If you expect it to be student-home clean, you are fine. But as Rasmus writes himself, it is not hotel-room-clean. Thanks again for the nice stay, would definitely recommend you. All the best. Benjamin

    Response from Rasmus:

I am really sorry, I had to cancel Carlos reservation, but I made a mistake, when I set the pricing. I had entered a too low price for a weeks vacation. And because I turned on instant booking, I couldn't stop the error, before the reservation was made. But I cancelled the reservation within half an hour after he made it, and offered to find something else in that price range. But he never returned my message.

  • We had an excellent experience. The apartment is exactly as described on the site and in the comments: it's small but with everything you need at hand and in a nice neighbourhood. The metro to the city centre is nearby, however since Copenhagen is very much a cycling city we can really recommend renting bicycles! (which we did at Cyklebørsen). Unfortunately we did not get to meet the man himself, but communication went very smoothly and easily over phone and e-mail. Highly recommended!

  • We had a great stay at this apartment. It's well situated in Frederiksberg, a nice neighbourhood with cafés and a park, and was just south of Nørrebro and a couple metro stops from the centre. The apartment itself was clean, charming, and the perfect size for two people. Rasmus was so nice and accommodating with our late arrival time by helping us get the keys and leaving us detailed directions. I would definitely recommend staying here!

  • We had a very pleasant stay at Rasmus' place. It is a small, no fuss apartment, but very cosy and well equipped. As Rasmus is writing himself, however, do not expect the place to be spotlessly clean... A plus is the location, close to the Metro and the Frederiksberg shopping center. Moreover, Rasmus is extremely flexible and helpful and he went to great lengths to accommodate us - he arranged for us to pick up the keys at his workplace, since our arrival hours didn't match his travel plans. Thanks again!
