Stay in a glamorous, multi-level, architectural home in Beverly Hills above the Sunset Strip and among the Hollywood stars. Your next-door neighbor is a film and TV star, and two doors down is the former estate of an Oscar winner.
Take your personal elevator up to relax in the private, heated swimming pool and jacuzzi (weather permitting) in the manicured garden. Listen to the music of your choice on our outdoor sound system as you tan in the California sun on the upper-level deck nestled in a canyon of yucca trees and wildflowers.
You will have your own room with Queen bed attached to a private bathroom and powder room. Your own level of the house is attached to a spacious, bamboo-floor living room, shared kitchen with granite counters, and separate dining room with a marble table. You can even step out onto the large balcony and sip a glass of wine by the swaying palms.
Enjoy seclusion in a surprisingly quiet, natural setting conveniently located near Los Angeles’ prime destinations. You are a five-minute drive to exclusive Rodeo Drive shopping, the famed Sunset Strip, and historic Greystone Mansion. Santa Monica Beach, Hollywood, and Downtown LA are within a half-hour. Park in our driveway or on the street.
Upstairs are a hospitable early-60s, active and educated couple. Bill enjoys cinema, genealogy, and volunteering while Lisa is passionate about Italian language and culture, cooking, and the outdoors. The owners have no pets and do not smoke.
Lisa and Bill were a great host! Very nice and exactly like it was listed on the airbnb site.
Lisa and her husband were great hosts. They gave me directions when I was looking for specific areas and so accommodating. Lisa even made fresh muffins which were delicious and set it out with coffee in the morning. That was totally unexpected but appreciated. The room was clean and you have a private bathroom and wifi available as well. They truly live in Beverly Hills in an Amazing neighborhood. If you are looking for a great central place to stay, this is the place for you while in LA. It was one of the rare times it rains in LA and it poured for 4 days straight, so I did not get to enjoy the patio/outdoors area but it was all a great experience for my first time using Airbnb.
Beautiful home and perfect location for my visit. Lisa and Bill are very nice hosts and very considerate of private space. Enjoyed my stay very much and hope to visit again soon! :)
Wonderful hosts. They waited up very late for me to arrive, and were very gracious about it. Thank you so much. I really appreciate your hospitality.
We enjoyed our stay at Lisa and Bill's place in Beverly Hills. Lisa is friendly and talked to us for a bit when we arrived. We didn't meet Bill.
A few comments about the house: it's a gorgeous house and it's very clean. The neighborhood is fantastic and, being in Beverly Hills, obviously very safe and quiet. The amenities such as the private bathroom and our bedroom were nice.
But we think that the description of the house was not entirely accurate. The guest room and bathroom are on the main floor of the house. Lisa and Bill don't seem to use that floor much, so in that sense it's "your own floor", but it's the floor that also has the kitchen, which is a shared space. Lisa did say we were welcome to use the (spacious) living room. One note also is that the pool is not heated in winter, according to Lisa, so we could not use it or the jacuzzi. We had been excited about that, so that was a letdown.
One evening when we returned, we found the front door locked. Lisa gave us a key to the front door, but it seemed that the door was locked with a bolt. There was no response to ringing the doorbell, so we had to walk around the back of the house and knock on Lisa's bedroom door to get her to open the front door for us. It only took five or ten minutes in all, but it gave us a scare as we were worried we wouldn't be able to get back in the house that day.
Overall, we enjoyed staying here very much. We hope that Lisa and Bill can update the description a bit to more accurately reflect the house. But either way, we recommend staying with them.
Great experience! Friendly people, beautiful home, great room. I was in LA on business and it was a great place to stay. If you're traveling for vacation, this is a great place for you as well. Your hosts are long time LA residents with a great knowledge of the city, and lots of great things to do. I look forward to staying here again!
Staying at Lisa´s mansion was awesome!
I felt at home.
Lisa its one of the most amazing people I have ever met.
Only met Lisa's husband due to us being out all day but the place was nice, clean, in a quiet (email hidden)ey even left a small breakfast out for us on both days.Definitely recommend this place!
Bill and Lisa were great hosts, staying up until after midnight when we finally got there to check in. While we only briefly met them because we were always coming and going, they were very nice, and it often smelled of delicious food! There was even a list of things to do and see, some of which we did, and some of which we'll take advantage of next time. Their place is in a great neighborhood in a quiet location, and the bed was very comfortable.
Lisa was a great host although I did not get to meet her personally due to the fact I was out most of the day only to return late, and she was at work when we arrived at her place. Nonetheless, I was running a little late from the check-in time we agreed upon, and after giving her a heads-up, she called me personally to confirm that all was ok. Her husband, Bill, was there to let my friend and I in, showed us our room and answered all questions we had. He was a very nice gentleman, and based off the glowing reviews about this couple, I wish I could have gotten to know them better. Overall, the house was in a fairly convenient location and the room accommodated my friend and I perfectly.
