Bruce, Sarah and Otto(the cat), they were wonderful. Their place is Beautiful, elegant, simple, and Very very comfortable. They were very nice, polite, and provided all that we needed! Their place is located near a walk-able supermarket, the Baltimore Museum of Art, and the vibrant Station North Arts District. I highly recommend staying with them! Its so worth it!
Sarah and Bruce were welcoming and their house is great! Very clean and open. Otto the cat also is a good housemate too.
Sarah and Bruce should lead the "how to host" workshop for airbnb, though their warmth, easy-goingness, great style, and heartfelt thoughtfulness at every turn are not skills easily taught! We SO lucked out by choosing their place for a special mother/daughter-moving-to-college-across-the-country-from-home trip! Our bedroom was as comfortable, apt as lovely and hosts as welcoming as we'd hoped! Even the cat cooperated and didn't bother my allergies a bit. Definitely peruse their (website hidden) map of favorites. . . . and ESPECIALLY try Tapas Teatro for dinner. Best ever. LOVED every moment of staying here. Perfect in every way.
My stay with Sarah and Bruce was very pleasant. I had easy access to transportation and close shops for food. My room was super comfy. I was only there for a few days but felt welcome. I would only say to future tenants to pay the attention I did not to the profile especially when it comes to the house being veggie. I am most certainly a meat eater and I don't think it was well received when I asked to put meat in their refrigerator...
I had a wonderful time staying with Sarah and Bruce on a weekend trip to Baltimore with my boyfriend. The house is beautifully decorated and spacious, and also has a separate air conditioning for the guest room. Their cat was very friendly and didn't bother my allergies at all.
The house is conveniently located next to a bus line, and within walking distance of great coffee shops and restaurants. Sarah and Bruce were really welcoming and knew the neighborhood well!
sarah's house is beautiful and she was very accommodating. our room had lots of closet/drawer space. very private and secure. not to mention, the house had multiple bathrooms!
there was separate airconditioning and a fan for the 3rd floor (where you will sleep). we were given good recommendations on where to eat and drink coffee in the morning. area looked cool and was close to everything we wanted such as groceries. would come back to stay again.
Sarah and Bruce were extremely gracious hosts, letting us come and go as we pleased. The house is immaculately kept, with great skylights and lighting that make it seem huge! Sarah turned on the A/C during the heat wave on the third floor (where we were sleeping) to make the visit that much more comfortable. Thank you!
Staying at Sarah and Bruce's house was wonderful! They are super nice people with a beautiful home. This was my first time staying in someone's home when they are also there, and it was great. Sarah and Bruce were friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. I wish I had been less busy so I could have talked with them more. They are both interesting people and I enjoyed the times we spent chatting.
The Art Gallery bedroom is comfortable, private, and beautiful. There are two big windows you can keep open for fresh air and lots of natural light. The bed is comfy and there was a relaxing lavender filled pillow on the bed when I arrived that kept the room smelling so nice the whole week.
Bottom line: I loved staying here and would definitely come back again. Thanks to Sarah and Bruce for a great week!
We loved staying with Bruce & Sarah. Awesome house, great private guest room, very close to everything downtown and the Station North Art District. They were very helpful as well with great suggestions for where to go to accomplish our "mission" for the weekend. Otto (big kitty cat) was sweet as well.
Sarah and Bruce were so hospitable and easy going. We felt right at home in no time! We were very new to the city and they made us feel very welcome. They had great recommendations of where to go and what to do in Baltimore. The row home was beautiful and filled with amazing artwork. Sarah and Bruce are incredibly talented artists, and very friendly and fun to talk to. They made our Baltimore experience great! My boyfriend, who is allergic to cats, didn't even experience any allergic reaction to their Hungarian forest cat, Otto, even after forgetting to take his anti-histamine.
The bed is comfortable, the room was quiet, and the location is convenient to many of the city's points of interest (museums, pubs, MICA, Johns Hopkins), as well as to a grocery store.
Couldn't have had a nicer place to stay!
