The super clean, freshly painted space is an excellent alternative to busy beach hotels. No one will knock on your door and yell "house keeping"! Relax on the front porch or patio and plan your activities for the day. Many options await you...the beach is always a great choice or if you prefer, many shops and restaurants are a short walk across John's Pass bridge. Try your luck fishing off of the dock on Boca Ciega Bay or watch the boats go by.The Free Beach Taxi can pick you up at your doorstep and deliver you to any spot along Treasure Island. There is also a beach shuttle (the stop is directly acroos the street) that travels from Maderia Beach through Treasure Island to St. Pete Beach. The cities of St. Petersburg and Tampa are very close by and offer museums, professional sports and exciting night life.
The duplex is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood that is convenient to everything to make your stay in Treasure Island a memorable experience.
We look forward to having you discover our gem on Treasure Island!
Quiet neighborhood with beach just across the street and John's Pass just a short walk.
There is a trolley that goes all along the beach (Gulf Blvd) and to downtown St Petersburg . The stop is very close to my place and the cost is about $2/ ride or $4.50 for multiple rides all day .
Free Beach ride is also a good option while in TI -drivers operate on tips only.
Uber is available for longer trips and there are also taxis.
Other Things to Note
Both sides of the duplex are available to rent.
The left side -"Discover a Gem in Treasure Island 2" is furnished in a very similar manner. Great for large groups, 2 couples or multiple families.
We have a no smoking inside the property policy. Smoking is permitted on the patio or front porch.
Pets are not allowed.
Spotless and so very comfortable!
Every detail thought of.
Location couldn't be better. Beach across street. Short walk to ice cream and unique shops!
I want to definitely return!
We had a great time and would recommend this location to other couples. If you don't have a car, make sure you bring walking shoes. Some of our favorite places we a30 minute walk away. Great weather the whole time we were here. Never met Tom in person but our communications were pleasant. (We stayed on the right side of the duplex. )
Perfect little place, ideal location - wish we could have stayed longer! Definitely check out John's Pass for breakfast and an amble along the decking, it feels like Key West.
Would stay again :-)
Great place to stay in Treasure Island. Short walk to the beach and John's Pass.
Tom was extremely responsive and accommodating. The property was very well cared for and quaint. It was perfect for our short family trip. Thank you Tom
Tom was easy to deal with and very fast to communicate with. The house was clean and ready for us when we arrived. It matched the description and pictures. The location was excellent, very short walk to the beach, nice neighborhood. Would recommend to others and stay here again.

I enjoy renovating properties and was thrilled to "discover this gem" in the rough in 2011. With help from friends and contractors, I was able to bring the duplex back so that family, friends and new friends from across the world could enjoy it also. I live part of the year in Charlotte, NC in a 1925 2-story brick house that I renovated. I love meeting new people and try to do everything possible so they will have a wonderful stay in my place.
