If you want to stay somewhere that's not your run-of-the-mill rental apartment and you enjoy great design and being in beautiful surroundings, this place is for you. We have worked hard to create a place that has all the flair of a hip hotel but with the comfort and ease of having your own apartment.
We are situated on the second floor of a small 300 year old building (no lift). The communal corridor has been sympathetically restored and the building is clean and quiet.
With 3.5m ceilings and large windows, it feels very spacious for it's 32sqm size. It has been decorated with a mix of antiques and modern convenience and luxury. The beautiful, large kitchen table means you'll enjoy eating in as much as exploring the fantastic local restaurants.
Perfectly located in the centre of Paris. Within 10 mins walk of Pompidou Centre, Louvre, Pont Neuf, Le Marais, Opera, rue Saint-Honore and much more.
This is the part of Paris to be in if you like access to all the tourist sites without being in a 'touristy' area.
We have many great local markets, shops and restaurants, (many of which we have sampled and left a list of recommendations in the flat.)
The famous market street rue de Montorgueill, with it's fabulous food shops and bistros, is just down the road.
Three different Metro lines close to the flat and Gare du Nord (where the Eurostar comes in) is just 5 minutes in a cab or three stops on the Metro.
All bed linen is good quality 100% cotton and pillows and quilts are goose feather and down.
The rental agreed by payment of the booking deposit is for a one bedroom apartment 32 sq metres in size, located in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris on the second floor and a building with no elevator.
Tariff includes welcoming by our concierge on arrival and check-out and cleaning on departure as well as cable TV, wi-fi internet and use of a basic Mac laptop for email and internet browsing. Telephone calls to USA, Canada, Europe, Australia and Asia as well as local calls are free. Calls to mobile phones and other countries have been blocked from the line. See below for additional charges and optional extras.
Towels and bedlinen:
We supply high-quality, 100% cotton towels and bedlinen which are all professionally laundered after each stay. Towels for two people and bed-linen for one double-bed are included in every booking. If linen for the sofa-bed or extra towels are needed, or if you use extra bed linen during your stay there will be a one-off laundry fee of €35.
Additional concierge charges:
The concierge is available to help with any problems or questions regarding the function of any appliances or services in the apartment.
Assistance from the concierge for things that are your own responsibility such as being locked out of the apartment, will be charged at a rate of €84 per hour, to be paid directly to the concierge.
Check in/ check out:
Check-in is between 3pm and 8pm and check-out between 9am and 10am Monday to Saturday. This is to give us time to prepare the apartment in between customers. However, if there isn’t another booking immediately before or after yours, different times can be arranged with the concierge.
French employment law requires that workers are paid a premium for working outside of normal office hours. Therefore, for check-ins or check-outs before 9am, after 8pm or on Sundays or public holidays, there is and additional charge of €50 to be paid directly to the concierge.
Local calls and calls to USA, Canada, Europe, Australia and Asia are free.
If you make any calls to mobile phones not listed in the guide book or to countries other than mentioned, you will be charged and the amount will be deducted from your security deposit.
To make your holiday even more relaxing, we can arrange for the cleaner to come during your stay. Either for a simple daily maid service or a full weekly clean for longer stays. Please let us know at the time of your booking if you are interested in either of these. Rate €30 per hour.
We know you will take good care of our apartment but accidents happen and unfortunately, they sometimes cost money to put right. The security bond will cover any damage or loss of equipment or furniture in the apartment. This may include specialist cleaning of rugs or furniture if stains or excessive soiling occurs (i.e if you spill red wine on the sofa). Where loss or damage is such that replacement, cleaning or repairs make it necessary to cancel subsequent bookings, compensation for these bookings may also be deducted from the security bond. Unless there is a claim, the security bond is refunded within 14 days of your departure.
By making a reservation with us you declare that you are covered by your own insurance for any direct or indirect injuries that may occur on the premises and will not make any claim against the owners relating to these. Your personal belongings are not insured by us while inside the flat. We recommend you take travel insurance that covers you for loss or damage of your personal belongings.
Terms of occupancy:
The rented property is a private residence and you agree to indemnify the owners for any damage or loss to the property or its contents that occur during your stay. Violation of the occupancy limit of 4 adults will result in the forfeiture of all monies and termination of occupancy. We reserve the right to inspect the property during your stay. Further, you agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the building and refrain from any activity which interferes with the quiet enjoyment of its other residents. Owners are not liable for failures of any equipment, systems, or appliances, as major repair problems cannot be foreseen. Problems should be reported to the concierge.
This apartment is strictly non-smoking. Evidence of smoking anywhere in the apartment may result in a deduction from the security deposit.

I stayed 2 months in this apartment and I had such a nice experience. The flat is very well located, near the Eiffel Tower and very close to a lot of different shops.
There is a street market twice a week which is very nice.
Even if this flat is near a metro station, it's VERY QUIET inside.
There is cable TV with a lot of channels.
Maite was very friendly and helpful and gave me some very good addresses in Paris.
I strongly recommend this flat! So do not hesitate any more and try it for a night or more!!!
I loved living in this apartment! It is clean, bright, well cared for and modern. It is also centrally located and in a quiet neighborhood. Maite provides excellent customer service to those who stay here.
We stayed in this Madeleine apartment for about a month with our two small girls.
The location is superb, walking distance to everything you might be interested in (sights, shops, bars, metro, tuileries park, seine...). The apt itself is small but you will find everything you need there and it has smart planning too! Although central it is placed in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. The street outside is full of bars and restaurants but most of them are lunch places and the bar clientel never ever bothered us!
Maite was the perfect host- kind, helpful and patient when we arrived late night...thank you!
To summarize, we loved it and recommend it!
Lovely flat and very convenient location. I love the simplicity and style of the (website hidden)ïté is very accommodating and helpful with providing us with tips and advises how to go about the city and where to go. Will stay here again if I visit Paris once more.
This apartment was exactly as it was described. It had everything we needed except the misplaced corkscrew! The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. The apartment was surprising quiet for the fantastic central location.
Maite was great and so helpful right from the beginning of the booking until we left for home. Even contacting us after we left about a mysterious pair of boots left at the apartment!
We had a wonderful holiday and will certainly stay here again. Look out for the fantastic classical concerts held regularly at the Madeleine literally around the corner. We recommend the Illy Cafe in the area for superb coffee.
Thanks Maite. FOUR STARS from us.
The two sisters from Melbourne, Australia
Thank you Janet for having taken the time to leave a review, specially such a nice one. Corkscrew search is about feeling deserving the wine after a long quest :)
We are so glad when guests had a great time, and enjoyed the place.
The boots mystery has been solved, it has been a good laugh - will explain in email. :)
We will be very happy to welcome you back. Enjoy your summer.
The studio was exactly the same as we can see on the photos, it's small (typical Paris), but suited perfectly all my needs!
The location is really good, The Invalides, on the 7th Arrondissement, really close to the Eiffel Tower and from a 5 to 10 walking stations from 4 subway stations from 4 different lines.
Though very good and beautiful, the neighborhood is not very animated, being pretty much residential and touristic.
I was really well received from Maïté, who speaks prefect english and showed me pretty patiently the apartment and the basics of Paris.
The experience was great and I categorically recommend the studio for whoever wants a confortable and more independent lifestyle in (website hidden)ão Victor.
