Our family of five loved our stay in Treviso. The apartment was exactly as advertised and was in a great location to everything needed. We enjoyed experiencing a true Italian town and lived the fact we could hop on the train for 20 minutes to get to Venice when we wanted to.
Frouke and Martin were very generous in welcoming us to their apartment, a well stocked kitchen and bathroom needs all catered for.
We also enjoyed the movie selection and use of the pool table to unwind and relax.
This apartment is a true gem! The pictures don't do it justice. Bright, airy, and the views are amazing! My fiancé and I married in Treviso and rented Frouke's flat for about a week. It was incredible! We very quickly fell in love with Treviso! It is perfectly located for a trip into Venice or a day spent traveling through the Prosecco wine region, which was spectacular.
The apartment is stocked with all the basics, laundry detergent, shampoo, soap, spices, etc. They also included a very detailed guide book to help with things around the house and also pointing out some of their favorite places around town.
Frouke, her son Martin, and family are such thoughtful people! They left us a card congratulating us on our marriage and also left us a bottle of Prosecco! They made us feel so welcome and at home! Such warm, kind people. I only wish I could have met them in person!
My only disappointment was having to leave ;)
We hope to be back to Treviso and to Frouke's apartment! Thank you for such a magnificent stay!
The apartment was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. Fantastic views, close to train station, bus stations, airport bus routes, great placement in the centre of Treviso with everything within easy reach. Two great working bathrooms was a big plus and good bedrooms within a very spaceous, comfortable, quiet, clean apartment. Everything was fantastic except that the TV was tricky to work. The hosts, Martin and Frouke made sure that we were comfortable and that we could have early and late access to the apartment. As I was with my parents, having two sets of keys was fantastic. Communication was very timely with responses to emails being almost immediate. I loved staying in this apartment and location and would love a chance to do so again in future. Very best regards to Martin and Frouke who generously let their apartment to strangers, thank you, Lucy Merrett and Frank and Ines Cescon.
Frouke was a gracious and responsive host. Her house was so comfortable and equipped with energy thing that you really felt at home. We loved especially the views of Treviso from the balcony and the pool table. Thank you so much Frouke, for a wonderful stay!
About the Host, Frouke
I am a mother of 3 children and married for over 30 years. I play tennis and love skiing and cycling. It's nice to cycle around Treviso. I fell in love with Treviso. It is more beautiful then Venice in many ways. The building are much better maintained and as one of Italy's richest cities, there is music, or festivals many weekends during the summer. This is the home of many clothing and furniture companies. This is the city to enjoy the Italian lifestyle, but where things are still well organised like back in my own northern country.
