The Thomas House was a charming, spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable (in terms of the beds) apartment for us. We received a fabulous welcome from Vincent when we arrived, as he gave us a map as well as a verbal tour of things to see and places to eat. The location is wonderful and we had absolutely no problem walking everywhere. We would absolutely recommend Vincent's apartment and would stay there again in a heartbeat.
I totally agree with the comments. Vincent & Anne are very kind and we had a warm welcome too. Their apartment is comfortable and very well located (Guinness Storehouse is 10 mn walk from the apartment). Dublin is a very nice city. People are friendly, smiling. Atmosphere in the pub is amazing and carrot cake is delicious!. I will be back!
Vincent and his wife Anne are such great hosts! They were so helpful in plannig our stay in Dublin and giving all the information about their cozy apartment. It's really wonderful, comfortable and in a strategic position and the price is worthy.
If I return to Dublin, I wuold choose their apartment again and again!
Thanks Vincent and Anne!
Vincent & Anne are very kind and we had a warm welcome.
The appartment is spacious, comfortable and well located.
The bedrooms are very quiet.
We really enjoyed our stay in Dublin thanks to Vincent & Anne.
Hope to come again.
Vincent was nice and the apartment was very comfortable. The location is OK on Thomas Street and there are plenty of food options around (both late and early). Dublin is a very walkable city and you'll find it easy to reach Temple Bar, Trinity College, Guiness Brewery, and O'Connell street. Please note that you won't generally have hot water available the shower at night.
Thank you for leaving a review. We value feed back from our guests as this enables us to improve the service we offer our clients.I am pleased to hear that you found Dublin a very walkable city. Sorry to hear that you had a problem with the hot water supply. If extra hot water is required at any time morning noon or night you simply activate the booster switch. This supplies almost instant hot water at the flick of a switch.
The apartment was very nice and very close to the city. Vincent was very helpful and welcoming. Restaurant we can recommend is elephant and the castle (thumbs up for chicken wings) and rustic stone (beef beef!). The last one is a little bit expensive but def worth it.
Our stay in Dublin was lovely. The flat was cozy and had everything we needed. Vincent was helpful and kind. All of the main sights in the city can be visited by foot.
Such a lovely apartment and in a great location, we really enjoyed staying there. Would definitely book again when back in Dublin.
My boyfriend and I arrived very late at night to Dublin and were immediately welcomed by Vincent and Anne, a lovely, warm couple. Not only had they brought us delicious pastries and milk for coffee and tea, they spent about an hour with us, pouring over maps and brochures and generally acclimating us to Dublin. They also told us everything we would need to know about their lovely apartment, from turning on the heating for each room to the hot water for the shower. The apartment itself was in a perfect location, allowing us the choice to walk wherever we chose to explore or to alternatively take the bus, which was very easy to do as well. The pictures do not do the apartment justice. It is a large, two bedroom and very comfortable. Additionally, there is a balcony with a very charming view of the church next door. Joshua and I took Vincent and Anne's suggestions for sights to see in and around Dublin as well as where to eat. We were immensely pleased with each of their suggestions! We simply cannot say enough about how wonderful it was to stay at this apartment and to be welcomed by two of the loveliest, warmest people we met during our two week vacation. We would not hesitate to stay there again!
Me and my friend have just got back from a few days of Christmas shopping in Dublin. The apartment was perfectly situated it was easy to get to from the airport and once we were there everything was within walking distance. Vincent gave us a warm welcome and showed us on a map plenty of good places to visit and recommended some local restaurants and cafes. The apartment was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Just to note it is up three flights of stairs and the pub next door had live music until 1am on the Friday night when we were there. There's a great little pavement café just off Lord Edward Street called Queen of Tarts with fab coffee and cakes all served on lovely vintage china and Bewleys is well worth a visit on Grafton Street. If I was staying in Dublin I would definitely stay at Vincent's again.
