It felt like being home. Very easy and fast communication. Lisel is a very helpful person. House and Bathrooms were very clean. Looking forward to stay there next time as well.
Very friendly and welcoming environment. Both the bedroom and bathroom are clean, modern, comfortable and provided a very smooth and relaxing stay.
we had a lovely stay at this house. the location was perfect for our needs. the neighborhood had so many things to offer in the way of food, drink, and eye candy. we very much appreciated the relaxed but clean atmosphere of the house - the eclectic decor, the comfy covered back patio, the ease of going and coming.
i only have a couple of complaints. the room we ended up staying in is not in any of the pictures on the listing and was much more cramped, less brightly-lit, and with smaller beds than what is advertised. also, it was not completely clear from the description that all of the facilities are communal. from the images and the write up, we thought we'd have our own kitchen and bathroom. that being said, we did not mind the communal atmosphere at all! we just had a different expectation. i will say, however, that we were the only people staying in the house at the time (other than the few who live there, who were more than lovely but we only barely ran into). if the house were full of guests, the communal bathroom situation could have been a bit trickier.
The brownstone is located on a great street in a wonderful location in Park Slope. The house has a big communal kitchen and space and everyone was very friendly.
Wonderful place wonderful host, very child friendly, traditional Brooklyn. Really convenient, 3 different subway stations a close walk. Surrounded by yummy cafes and restaurants. I would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic New York experience. Lisel the host is the star of the show, friendly and fascinating. We'll be back!
Location is great! The place was cozy , there's a cute little garden in the back. Lisel was such a great host, easy to contact and kind.
Lisel is a woman with a heart of Gold, she's generous, understanding and very compassionate about her cause. The house is so cosy, clean, efficient and in a lovely neighborhood, although I stayed there for only one night, but I absolutely loved it. The room that I shared with two other friends had TV, clean sheets and towels. Lisel showed us around, introduced us to other airbnb guests and welcomed us into her house with open arms. I would absolutely stay there again.
