This very special house is availble for short term rentals.
This particular ancient house has got the very unique characteristics of a ........Renaissance loft!!!
It is located in a stylish, antique building of the oldest part of the city centre.
The moment you walk in you immediately see the large size fresco dating from the end of XIV century. It is an important piece of art, Madonna and Saints and it .... reigns over the house!
Since the original shape of the house has been preserved, it is an open space, with separate bedroom and bathrooms. It has been restaured with all original materials, so it looks ancient and contemporary in the same time.
Close to the Madonna fresco there is an office area, equipped with a pc, printer and scanner. Fast Internet connection is available, of course,
The kitchen is open and is equipped with anything you may need (included microwave and dishwasher); you have a snack corner too. The laundry is (separated) just behind: there you have washing machine as well as dryer, and a freezer too.
Following, you have a very large living room, with a huge table (3x1.2 metres): it is an antique piece with 10 big period chairs: for faboulous dinners with crystal chandelers above.
The dining table is facing the garden: two large glass windows offer you a full view.
In late spring and summer you can easily eat out, in the close loggia.
Beside the dining room there is a large sittingroom, with sofas and a wide screen plasma TV and stereo equipment that allows you to listen to the music from every room in the house.
There is also an antique piano, to play your owin music, for instance.
The whole living has got fresco decorations as well, dating from XV to XVI sec.; the dining and sitting room is about 50 square metres.
From the large glass windows you can go into the garden .
There is a bathroom in service to the living room.
Opposite to the kitchen there is the master room with a private bathroom (including a whirlpool shower) and wardrobe; its large glass doors face a garden, with inpressive night lightings and a zen fountain.
In front of the master room is the kids room, with own bathroom. This last is not included in the house rental, since there are private belongins in.
The property includes a wide private garage, available on request.
The house is furnished with pieces of antique; it has been restored in every detail in a very accurate way.
It is located in a very central area, but it is an inner space and you have the impression you are away from time and space.
It has a special atmosphere, enveloping, which gives a great sense of involvement and well-being to all visitors.
The house is equipped with all the comforts and is perfect for any kind of stay, but mainly for those who wish to stay in the city a few days living in a high standard of living and with exclusive services.
On request, it is possible for example to have daily maid and cook. The place is perfect also for private parties, but in full respect for the dignity and respect of civil society.
From the house you can walk everywehere throughout the historical center, the Two Towers and Piazza Maggiore are just a few minutes walk. The whole area is well served by public transport and there are all kinds of shops, food and leisure included.
The historical center of Bologna is characterized by an enormous range of cultural events to suit every need, and this location is perfectly suited to people of high culture who want to spend a few days in Bologna.
I am willing to help building a 'tailor-made' stay for every need!
Alessandro was warm and welcoming host and took time to explain the apartment and the area. She kept in touch during our stay and was most helpful. The apartment was large, very pleasant and well equipped. Interesting frescoes on the walls added to the charm. Rooms open onto a central very quiet garden/terrace area which makes a delightful oasis of peace in the city. Central and ideally located apartjment from which to explore Bologna
