Thank you for finding the KeizerInn BnB (BoatandBed). I offer you an unique recently rebuild place with private terrace in the centre of Amsterdam but witch quiet surroundings. This cosy apartment which includes the former wheelhouse, has a private entrance so there is no customer contact.

Although the Keizerinn BnB is located in a quiet neighborhood, you will find lots of small bars and restaurants in the direct surroundings.

The space
You will stay on a unique ship type "Groninger Bol" which is completely renovated by Peter, the owner. The ship, which is built in 1904, used to be a cargo ship. Peter modernist the schip and left the original details to make your stay one kind of it's own.

The KeizerInn is very well isolated and uses the most modern environmental friendly techniques to reduce your carbon footprint! The floor heating gives the apartment a nice warmth, especially in winter time it will keep you feet nice and warm.

You can have a cosy seat in the original wheelhouse and when it is nice weather you can sit on your own private terrace on the deck of the boat. There you have a wonderful view over the canal and it's surroundings like the nearby park and the Hortus Botanicus.

You will have the most wonderful dreams when you sleep on the high standard pocket string mattress with a memory foam topping, which is in the room below.

To make your stay even more better, there is free WIFI and television.

You have also your own bathroom with shower and a separate toilet.

Guest access
As written you will stay in a 20m2 apartment with a private entrance! Very special is the cosy corner in the wheelhouse. Under the wheelhouse (accessible via a small stairs) you will find the original "Roef" the place where the shipper and his family used to live. So you can experience Amsterdam in an unique way.

My work: Owner Bed & Breakfast De Keizerinn, Technical all rounder

Welcome on my boat! I'm offering you a wonderfull stay at one of Amsterdams most beautifull spots. As a technical allrounder (I can fix nearly everything) is the reason that I was able to renovate this boat myself (with a little help from my friends :-)). The ship is originally build in 1904 and is a so called "Groninger Bol ship”. Although the ship is more than 100 years old, I modernised it to todays standards with keeping the authentic details. I hope that you will enjoy your stay with me. And I am happy to inform you about everything Amsterdam has to offer. Warm regards, Peter.
