It's a nice apartment right in the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego. Great place to enjoy the excitement and convenience of downtown living! Located near the 5, 163 & 94 freeways, fabulous restaurants, shopping, Convention Center, Petco Park, Seaport Village, Horton Plaza Mall, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, the Trolley and more. This is an ideal spot to start exploring San Diego.
We have 2 medium size dogs: Bobik and Zoe. Most of the time they are staying in our room and won't bother you at all.
In your accommodation you'll have a private room with a queen size bed, closet, desk and your own private bathroom with toiletries and towels.
Also feel free to store your food in the fridge and use the kitchen area.
For Guest’s Enjoyment and Safety:
First and main rule we have a SHOELESS POLICY. It helps to preserve the carpets and maintain the house clean. You can store your shoes on the rack or next to it.
Moreover it is absolutely necessary that all guests maintain a drug and smoke free environment. Noise levels are very strictly enforced. No loud music, parties etc. after 10 p.m.
It is never appropriate to loiter in the communal hallways. Please respect the privacy of our neighbors. And if you have any questions or issues on finding the place please contact me directly (don’t trouble the neighbors).
Guest mail cannot be delivered to the property, however USPS post office is right across the street (9th ave. and E str.). Also FedEx and UPS stores are near by.
Offsite parking is metered, so be sure to pay attention to all posted signs. And be attentive to the street swiping days and “No Parking” hours (on F street).
I highly suggest to use UBER for all your transportation needs. It's super convenient and affordable (cheaper than a taxi). If you still don't have it, just download the application to your smartphones using 6xe31 promo code and get your first Uber ride free (up to $30). Redeem (email hidden)/invite/6xe31.
You can watch TV, Netflix and also you can connect your computer to TV via the HDMI cable provided.
Please inform me if I miss any detail or if you have any issues, concerns or suggestions about the place.
Looking forward to meet with you.
Very pleasant stay. Thank you for being so hospitable and welcoming. The room was exactly how it was described. The dogs didn't care for us much but that what do you expect when strangers come and stay for the week. Overall a great stay with awesome hosts.
Katia was sick when we visited San Diego and she arranged her friend, Moe's place for us. The room is comfortable and both of them are really nice; we had a good time there.
Katia was very responsive -- I contacted her literally the night before and she was able to make the room available for me. Their dogs are very friendly, so if you like playing with small dogs, you'll love this place. But even if you don't, they can be kept to themselves and won't bother you. The room itself is great, just like the picture shows, and comes with its own bathroom.
Katia's Apartment was perfect for NYE. The location is excellent and her tips to get around the gas lamp quarter were super helpful. Everything was set up and ready for us when we arrived. I would stay here again!!
It's critical to find a comfortable place to live when you're traveling. Katia's place is not only cozy, but also convenient to explore the down town of San Diego. You can find grocery store, high-rated restaurants, and sightseeing spots easily in this area. Katia and her husband are also very hospitable. They can give you the best and cordial reception during your stay.
The reservation was canceled 4 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We ended up getting a comped room for our stay in San Diego last minute and ended up not needing to stay at Katia's but the days leading up to our stay she was very responsive on giving us the information that we would need for check in/check out & was always available to answer our questions.

I'm originally from Belarus, Eastern Europe, but lived in San Diego for the last 4 years. Love this place! Great peaceful city with a lot of things to do. Most amazing mexican food, countless beaches for surfing, swimming, kayaking and other water activities, incredible hiking trails, breathtaking sunsets, diverse cultures, friendly people, numerous conventions, etc. There are many reasons to love San Diego.
I have a Bachelor in International Tourism and Hospitality and recently accomplished Masters in International Tourism. Love to travel and meet new people!
