About this listing
A huge room (large even for two!) situated in one of the most residential and quiet areas of Rome, where the center is reachable in less than 30 mins, crowded of bars and restaurants and metro is 5 mins away. All attractions in Rome are at hand!
The Bed & Breakfast is located in Rome’s Trieste graceful area, close to the important Santa Priscilla Christian catacombs and Villa Ada marvellous park, once hunting area of the Savoia royal family.
Also, the magnificent Villa Torlonia Park, with the Casa delle Civette beautiful house and the great Villa Borghese park, with its vast art collection, are easily reachable.
The property is housed on the 5th floor (with a lift) of an elegant middle fifties building. It will provide you with all comforts to make you feel at ease during your stay. Its location is in a residential street just on the back of a large quantity of shops, bars, pizzeria and restaurants.
The property has been recently 80% restored and I will be more than happy to provide you with recommendations about interesting locations in Rome, after all I was born here and have quite an extensive knowledge.
The stop "LIBIA" of METRO B1 is walking distance from the apartment. By metro or bus you will reach the HISTORIC CENTER in 20 minutes and the VATICAN in 30 minutes. The distance to the BEACH is approximately 1 hour by metro and train. By bus, all areas of the city are easily accessible.
The bedroom is very large and spacious with a French double bed (140 cm) and can accommodate a single person, an adult with a kid and two adults. Plenty of space for your luggage is provided in the room.
The bathroom is shared with me. I smoke and for this reason smoking is allowed during your stay. I own a beautiful doggie named Lilli who is very sweet with guests and will not enter the guestroom. Guests must be smoke and pet friendly but unfortunately are unable to bring with them other pets.
There are a myriad of bars and coffee shops 50 mt away from the house where you'll find the best cappuccino and sweet rolls and you'll be suggested where to go to have the best Italian breakfast.
Services include weekly change of linen, and towels every three days , wi-fi internet access without any surcharge.
The following services are included:
-Keys of the apartment
-Linen, blankets and towels
Please read carefully the rules of the house!
Guests will have access to their room and bathroom only. USE OF THE KITCHEN IS NOT ALLOWED!
Interaction with Guests
I'm actually unemployed so, despite I still have lots of things to do, I have a lot of free time that we can share and I will accompany you here and there around Rome but you must ASK me!
You'll be responsible of paying fees for my bus tickets and entrance to main attractions. :))
If you are alone we can arrange night tours in Rome (sorry, my car is a Smart!!)
The neighborhood and especially my street is very quiet, calm and silent. It is a residential area, with lots of shops and services of any kind just some walks away.
The neighborhood, with buses 63 and the metro station B1 Libia nearby, is very well linked with the center and with the main attractions in town.
Guests are not allowed to use the kitchen unless they stay more than one month.
It is not possible to eat food in the flat (room and/or kitchen) but you can keep a bottle of fresh water in the fridge.
It is possible to smoke in the room.
The couch/sofa in the room is not intended for sleeping.
It is abslutely and strictly prohibited to bring any unknown person into the flat different than the guests themselves.
Guests are kindly requested to come back home within 1 am to avoid disturbing the owners of the other flats in the building and to be as quiet as possible.
Paolo is a very kind and nice host. I felt very welcoming and looked after in his apartment. The flat is big, comfortable and very clean. The area is beautiful typical italian with very nice coffee shops, little shops selling all kind of stuff and few nice restaurants to eat great italian food. Very convinient to get to the historic city center. A direct bus on line 63 regularily goes to Piazza Venezia from the piazza infront of the building. Very convinient and comfortable.
I've been at Paolo's appartment for 4 days in May. He is a really nice guy, very helpful if you don't know Rome and ready to give you an hand in case you may need. The room is quite big and very sunny. The apartment is not far from the metro stop Libia and there are few bus stops near the house. The neighborhood is really calm and nice. In few words I reccomend Paolo since is a great host.
Paolo was a great host. The room is beautiful and the location is absolutely nice because it gives a real sense of what Rome is without so manny tourists. I had great conversations with Paolo about movies and Italian culture... My staying in Rome was much better because of him!
My boyfriend and I stayed with Paolo for 5 days and he has managed to enrich our "Roman" experience in ways we never expected. From useful advice and detailed guides of what to see and how to get there, to recommendations to the best restaurants and cafes, to stories of Rome and Italy we would have never heard had we not met him. For the first time ever, the room was better than the pictures: comfortable, spacious, clean and warm :) Location was ideal as it was not crowded with tourists but the connection to main sites is excellent! Paolo's hospitality has definately convinced us to book another trip to Rome very soon!
Paolo is an amazing host ! He gave us every informations usefull for our visit of the city (bus, restaurant, shop, ...) ! He also helped us with our taxi's issues for our departure ! The room is incredibly comfortable and all his apartment is very clean and welcoming !
This is the place to stay for your trip in Rome !
Thank you very much for all you've done for us !
No ha sido una buena experiencia. El anuncio, de entrada, era engañoso. Ofertaban desayuno y no estaba incluido.
Maite is a very unpredictable person. She has been welcomed into my house and helped in any possible way but she DIDN'T read that I'm a smoker and the entire listing, including the rules of the house and the fact that breakfast is not included, so her expectations were beyond the limits. Despite my kindness, one night I invited a friend for dinner and she got furious because I didn't have her permission and decided to leave. BEWARE HOSTS: this is a potentially insane guest, so pay a lot of attention before accepting her requests.
