The Chastler is a classic alpine pasture and belongs to the municipality of Mund, the only saffron growing area in Switzerland (about 6 km).

The studio is located on the first floor of the chalet "Fäldmattuschiir." The Fäldmattuschiir was built from untreated, regional larch wood and is located in a small hamlet of 3 chalets.

Throughout the year you have views of snow-capped peaks with numerous glaciers and imposing four-thousanders such as Dufourspitze (46363 ft.), Dom (45,45 ft.), Weisshorn (45,06 ft.) or the world-famous Matterhorn (44,78 ft.).

At the foot of the studio is a picturesque meadow, which is still cultivated according to old traditional tradition. Beautiful flowers in spring, summer, then hay harvest, in autumn grazing black-nosed sheep and cows. In winter, you have a view of a white, untouched snow field.
