CasaSelita is a beautiful romantic escape in the countryside. It is a short walking distance to the town of Orvieto which has many restaurants and attractions. Selita is very welcoming and hospitable, we felt comfortable immediately. My partner and I relaxed in the gardens in the evening. At breakfast we were welcomed with home made olive oil and bread. Amazing spread! An amazing stay which I highly recommend to everyone.
Casa Selita was everything I hoped it would be - tranquil, beautiful and easy access to Orvieto. Selita and her husband were lovely, welcoming and helpful. I really appreciated that they provided a map of Orvieto when I arrived and had even marked on it their top restaurant recommendations - food in Orvieto is fantastic!
I stayed for about a week and would have happily stayed for another. My room was the tower room with breathtaking views and my own terrace where I sat daily on a lounge chair looking across an olive grove reading my book.
I travelled by train to Orvieto and it was very easy to hop on a bus to get to Casa Selita from the train station - even with my big suitcase - and the walk to Orvieto only takes about ten mins max.
I would highly recommend staying at Casa Selita and visiting Orvieto.
My husband and I are so glad we had 2 days "time out" at CasaSelita during our tour of Italy's most well-known cities. It is positioned in a lovely area of the countryside below Orvieto, with a breathtaking view over the rolling hills and farmland. It is an easy walk up to the pretty town of Orvieto, but it is also a pleasure to relax on the chairs in the garden with a bottle of wine. Our room was at the far end of the building and thus felt very private, and the hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. We even were offered a ride back to the train station after check out, which was appreciated (and after leaving my handbag in the car Ennio had to make a special trip back to the station to give it to me) - thanks!
We got a little lost finding the place, but that we partially because we took the funicular into town and then tried finding the place. Once we got there we were blown away at the beauty and care taken at this B&B to make it so wonderful. Lovely comforters on the bed with extra blankets in the closet. We had our own little sitting area looking out onto the Umbrian countryside. Breakfast was also a nice time where we interacted with Selita and other guests. She is a very gracious host. We only wish we had stayed longer.
CasaSelita is located a short walk from escalators or elevator to Orvieto inside a bend on a road without much traffic - hence a peaceful location near town. Selita was ready to help with advice in several languages about sights and local information. Suggestions for restaurants are worth following. Listing on airbnb is fair and describes well what you will get at CasaSelita.
Awesome, awesome, awesome place!!! The room and bathroom were perfect and THE VIEW WAS AMAZING!! Very accommodating host and the breakfast was very filling. I would stay here for the entire 10 days if i ever return!! Thank you!!

Wonderful experience, enjoyed the setting, the architecture, a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay while visiting Orvieto.
Selita is a gracious host with very good english language skills.
CasaSelita is clean, comfortable and cozy, not big and flashy, just what we were looking for.
Thankyou so much! Could not have had a better stay. Very helpful hosts and a beautiful property.
