Christina was a very helpful and friendly host, providing good advice about the neighbourhood. The apartment was very clean and we immediately felt comfortable when we entered it! Our stay in New York could not have been better! Great location, easy acces to Manhatten, nice apartment & convenient kitchen! Next time I visit New York I would def stay here again!
This was my first Airbnb stay, and I will definitely be doing it again because of such a positive first experience.
Christina's apartment was charming, clean, and the location was awesome, being steps away from the Q. Christina was a great host, and explained everything about the apt thoroughly when we first got there. Would definitely go back!
What a lovely apartment! Loved our stay in Christina's place. Clean, very comfortable.
Great place - very clean and spacious. All amenities needed and sooooo close to the Q which is in my opinion one of the best lines to be close by. Highly recommended.
I had family coming in town for a wedding and was looking for a nearby apartment. Christina's place was a perfect fit! The apartment was wonderful, very cute, clean and conveniently located near the park and local transportation. Christina is also amazing. She is thorough in her explanation and left a detailed information to help answer any questions. She is also very accessible and quick to check in. All in all, a great experience!
We are so grateful to Christina for being such an incredible host. The apartment was perfectly located near the park and public transportation. We were so excited to know that we would be coming back in a few weeks.
Being married to a fellow yogi, Christina's place provided a perfectly balanced ambience to relax after a day in NYC. Thank you so much Christina.
My mother and I greatly enjoyed our stay in Christina's apartment. The apartment was exactly as pictured--no surprise is a good thing!
Christina was wonderfully accommodating and understanding of our late arrival time, which was a great relief.
Will definitely check the availability of Christina's apartment the next time I'm coming through the city.
We booked this place based on the pictures and were not disappointed. Christina has done a great job with creating a well-balanced Chi in the space that counters the beautiful chaos that is NYC.
Despite the technically small space of the apartment,my wife, 6 year old daughter and I felt perfectly comfortable and never felt crowded.
The fact that the Q line is literally half a block away was perfect in facilitating our ability to explore New York without having to worry about to many transfers.
Thank you so much Christina for helping to make our trip so special, by knowing that we had a quiet and comfortable space to come home to out of the chilly weather outside.
We'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Christina's place for your NYC travels.
Christina was clear and prompt in communication from the start. She was considerate and adapted to changes in our arrival time & extra guests. She gave clear guidelines on how to work the shower, kitchen appliances etc. and left valuable maps and help on how to locate the subway station. In addition, she gave useful advice on things to do and how to access galleries. She gave us a phone to call her on, but we used it only to update her on the second day of our stay.
The apartment itself was charmingly beautiful, full of artwork and books, and there was plenty space to spread out our belongings. The bed was wide and comfortable & the fold-out futon in the living room was also comfortable, my friend reported! The neighbourhood is mainly residential, the Church Avenue subway station is at the end of the street through which to access Manhattan in about twenty minutes or the beach at Coney Island in the same time in the other direction. There were stores and food places a longer walk down to Church Avenue. Parking was a bit tricky as they clear the streets for sweeping on certain days, but Christina texted beforehand with info on quieter streets to park on.
I would definitely stay at Christina's again - she provided a low-cost, friendly and relaxed alternative to a hotel experience, that gave a glimpse into Brooklyn life.
It wasn't hard to find Christina's apartment. It was nice because it's on the top floor as well so there wasn't a lot of noise - very quiet. She was very responsive. Place was clean. We had to add a third person last minute and she easily accommodated us.
