Christina was a very kind and warm guest and showed us everything in her house. Although the building was old, the house was very clean and everything was in place. Christina made sure that we were very comfortable in her house by showing us the smallest of the things. She also recommended places to visit near by. I did not find the neighborhood very welcoming initially, however the closeness to the subway station made the stay worthwhile. Overall it was a very positive experience and I will recommend this place to stay. :)
Staying at Christina's was fantastic. The flat has so much charm and character - it really is a unique experience. I wish we could have stayed longer. The area is great - a couple of minutes walk to the metro station Church Avenue (B&Q trains into Manhattan - the Q train was amazing and runs 24h). Church Avenue itself is bustling and you can find anything you want on that street.
Christina spent time with us to show us how everything worked and also gave us maps and some tips about the area. She is very lovely and we felt very much taken care of.
My hostess made me feel welcome by meeting me at the door and giving me a thorough tour of her apartment.
The description of her place was accurate, everything worked and I enjoyed my time there very much.
The neighborhood is multicultural, in the process of being gentrified, safe and clean.
Wonderful apartment and lovely host. Christina was a perfect host and always there for any type of question. Will definitely stay again!
I highly recommend staying here! It's only a couple min walk to Prospect Park and seconds from the train!! The Apartment was big which is a relief in the city! Very clean, I highly recommend staying here!
Christina's house is excellent, you cannot find such kind of house in New York with only 100 dollars per night. The house is clean and spacious, and the bedroom is sunny in the morning. Christina is very nice and patient, and is willing to help you when you have problem. The only downside is the parking issue. To be honest parking is challenging during my stay. I have to get up and move my car before 7:00am otherwise I would get a ticket. Overall, very good experience, will probably be back next time!
