Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Kind of surprised by the glowing reviews of this place - me and my boyfriend were not that hot on the flat. It's on one of the busiest streets in Budapest so it gets loud in the mornings (and occasionally at night with drunk people walking home); however we stayed further south earlier in the week and know that this is can be conditional of Budapest as a city unless you get an interior facing apartment. Also when we got to the apartment the exterior of the building was covered in scaffolding which blocks the windows and views - we were never informed of this before our visit which was pretty disappointing. Lastly the apartment across the hall has set up a smoking patio in front of the front door of the apartment which makes the flat smell like smoke, not to mention you are greeted by college kids sitting at your front door every time you leave/arrive.

We booked this place in a pinch and Bea was very accommodating and communicative, however I think there's probably a little more bang for your buck out there. Location is good because it's across from the metro and a major bus stop, as well as walking distance to restaurants. If you have kids it's probably better as we noticed a ton of kid stuff around (toys, kid chair) but like ehhhhhh.

  • The overall experience in Bea's apartment was great. The day we arrived we were late since our train had a delayed. Nevertheless, there was someone waiting for us in the apartment until we got to the place. The apartment has everything you might need, even board games, stereo, tv. I was especially concerned since I was with a disabled (wheelchair) brother, so I was hoping the place was accessible for him. When we arrived we found the house had huge doors, a perfect roll-in shower inside a very spacious bathroom and the elevator was accessible for the wheelchair. The ramp in the first level is a little bit steep, so I do not recommend it for unassisted disable guests. To make the story short, we had a great time in this place, the location was perfect: close to public transportation (in front of the metro, which btw is not accessible for wheelchairs) and close to many busses (which are accessible). The hop-on hop-off busses also have relatively close stops, so its very convenient. I would definitely recommend this place to any body and I would stay there again myself if I come back to Budapest.

  • We stayed 4 nights in this beautiful appartment (exactly like the photos). We arrived late, but we got access to the flat easily. Everything was well organised and Bea was always available.
The appartment is really central located, with many beautiful sightseeing spots close around it.

  • Gorgeous and spacious apartment located downtown Pest. All the charme of an old building plus the convenience of modern equipment. I could not recommend it more. We had a blast in Budapest. Thanks Bea for a great time!

  • Had a great time in this beautiful apartment. It was just as shown in the pictures, spacious and very conveniently located. All the main areas were at a walking distance and there is a metro station right across the apartment. We did have an issue in locating the apartment but I guess that was all due to some communication gap, we were travelling and could not contact Bea that we would be late in checking in, hence a bit of confusion. But all in all, the apartment was great and we had a lovely time there.

  • The apartment was absolutely lovely - great location with a beautiful view from the small balcony, totally spotlessly clean, and spacious and airy. The bed was comfortable, and there were lots of great linens to choose from. Everything we needed for our stay was provided (including a bottle opener so we could sample some of Hungary's delicious wines!). The sound of traffic from the busy street below was slightly loud if you're a light sleeper, but moving the provided fan into the bedroom made a nice white noise that covered it well. The interior courtyard is filled with light and balcony gardens, making the walk into the apartment very pleasant. We even met a few neighbors in the complex, who were very kind and helpful. The neighborhood was central, and felt very safe. I'd absolutely recommend staying here or in Bea's other apartments.

  • Fantastic BIG apartment in Budapest with the Arany Janos metro station literally across the road. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom with extra toilet. Check in was smooth & there is a good supermarket next door. Overall a great comfortable apartment for two couples.

  • Lovely apartment in a great location. Just as nice as it looks in the photos. Quite warm at night, but I stayed during a heat wave in July. Bea was very accommodating and professional. I would stay here again.
