Situated in Corso di Porta Ticinese, the 16th century street and on the square facing the basilica that features the so-called "Colonne di San Lorenzo" (Columns of St. Lawrence), one of the few remains of the Roman "Mediolanum", dating from the 3rd century AD and probably belonging to the large baths built by the emperor Maximian, with windows looking over the Columns and The Basilica, this apartment is carefully furnished in what is considered to be a typically Milan's medieval style.
The area of Ticinese is vibrant with lots of young people night and day and is just a hop, skip and a jump from Via Torino (a little closer to the centre) or close to a good bar to enjoy Milan’s Aperitivo.
The shops are geared more toward the younger market with a mix of youth oriented brands like Lee, Quiksilver and Energy.

In the area: Restaurants, bike renting; you can walk all the Navigli area with its beautiful and typical shops and pubs. In the spring and in the summer excursion on Naviglio Grande.
The area surrounding Porta Ticinese is a historic quartiere of Milan; it has its coat of arms, a three-legged red stool on a silver background.
The district is part of the Navigli area of Milan, which is rich of monuments, tourist attractions, night life, and more, and qualifies as one of the most important areas of Milan outside the historic centre. It includes the notable Basilica of Sant'Eustorgio, a basilica that was established in the middle ages and restored several times through the centuries, so that the original romanesque structure has been complemented with Renassaince elements. Sant'Eustorgio is located in a well known city park called Parco delle Basiliche, which also includes another prominent basilica, that of San Lorenzo. Nearby are also the Colonne di San Lorenzo, which are among the best preserved Roman ruins in Milan. The plaza where the Colonne di San Lorenzo are located is also one the key places of the so-called "Milanese movida", i.e., night-life.

Coming from either one of the 3 airports in Milan , the best way is to catch the shuttle bus to Central Station and take the green subway line and stop in Sant’Ambrogio

4.Please report any hazards or property damage immediately.
5.Show consideration to other tenants of the building in regards to music or other noise. No loud music or noises after 9:00 PM or before 8:00 AM per city ordinance. Tenants who violate the peace and quiet of other tenants and roommates will not only be in violation of their lease agreement and asked to leave but also might face police prosecution.
6.Tenants shall maintain the premises in a clean sanitary condition at all times. Clean all dishes and pots and pans after every use. Do not leave them in the sink or on the counter.
7.Clean sink and tub after each use (especially clean strainer of hair). Ladies are not to flush sanitary products down the toilets as this can cause blockages
8.Please separate the waste for recycling in separate bags. European law states that waste must be recycled where possible. Check AMSA S.P.A. for further information.
9.Turn out all interior lights when not in use. Remember to turn bedroom lights and fans off when leaving for the day.
10.Remember to turn off all electrical and gas appliances when not in use. Damages derived from improper usage will be charged to you.
11.Keep gates and doors closed at all times. Tenants must never provide unknown persons with access to the common areas. It is important to pay attention when entering common doors and gateways to prevent unknown persons from entering. Unfamiliar persons must always be referred to the doorbells or to use their own key.
12.Under no circumstance shall upholstered furniture (i.e. couches) or any other indoor furniture be kept, used or left outside.
13.Nothing is to be left on the ground or hanging from windows or balconies.
14.Walkways/common areas must be kept free of obstacles or obstructions at all times.Personal items are not to be left in communal areas at any time.

16.You must close the inner doors of the elevator if you use it. Max number of persons to enter the elevator are written and must be adhered to. Leaving the inner doors open or improper usage will result in a fine to be paid by the tenant.
17.Tenants will be considered as moved out only when all keys are handed. If keys are not delivered tenant will have costs for said keys

Igor's apartment is very unique and trendy. Central location with a great view and easy access to restaurants, bars, shopping, and the Duomo. Igor was always helpful in answering any questions or concerns. Great for a short stay in a lively area.

My mother stayed in this apartment with my little siblings (11-13y.o) All members of the family enjoyed their stay in this apartment from different points of view. My mother was very happy to stay in such a bright and clean apartment. As an Interior design professional she liked historical value of the apartment and antique pieces of furniture that have been added to its space. My sister liked the fantastic stairwell of the house and general exotic experience she had staying in such uncommon environment ; my brother - was thankful for the fast wifi :)
The house is linked to Porta Ticinese and obviously there's no lift. As the apartment is based on the 4th floor, please bare in mind carrying your luggages.
Also with on of the most important location of historical centre it is quite crowded and noisy almost until 3am. Therefore if you sleep not well, I'd recommend to take ear plugs with you.
Igor was very helpful and reliable during all our correspondence providing additional information that I needed. Taking into consideration my mother arrived on Saturday late in the evening Igor met her at the address making her check-in smooth and free of any hassle.
