The Space

Stay in an incredibly spacious, split-level Williamsburg loft with plentiful light and outdoor space. The first level is a two bedroom and two bathroom apartment, with a large kitchen and dining area. There is a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and a guest room with an adjacent hallway bathroom. The upstairs loft is a living/office area, enclosed by many windows and doors leading out to the breathtaking terrace. Please see "THE APARTMENT" and "THE ROOMS" below for more details.

This is "Central" Williamsburg which is conveniently located near three popular trains - the G, J/M, and L lines. Please see "CLOSE BY" and "TRAIN INFO" below on how you can get to popular destinations.

The apartment is very clean, quiet and peaceful. I am available as host and concierge and can easily be reached by email or text to answer any questions about the apartment or give recommendations on how to spend your time in New York.

The space is newly constructed with clean lines and a modern feel. Current amenities are as follows:
-open kitchen with large island
-basic kitchen items available for cooking
-spacious living and dining area

-free wireless internet
-open lofted area (currently serves as yoga/meditation studio & my office and sleeps up to three additional guests); please see "THE LOFT" for details
-access to open terrace that is approximately 230 square feet (21 square meters), with views of One World Trade Center and the Empire State Building.

The Guest Room:

-GUARANTEED! clean sheets with a down comforter
-two sets of clean towels
-oversized window and glass door leading to walk-out balcony
-access to the hallway bathroom

The Loft:
Currently, the loft serves as a meditation room and my office. There is a large daybed which converts to two twin mattresses or an over-sized queen sleeper. Also, a high-end queen-sized air mattress can be inflated as well. One, or both of the daybed mattresses can also be relocated to the living area downstairs to overall accommodate two people in each room of the flat.

My apartment is located on a very quiet block, which is pleasant and a short walk to many desired areas. Grand Street is 5 blocks north and the main drag of the immediate neighborhood. It’s low key but has all the unique hallmarks of Williamsburg.

North Williamsburg - Go a mile northwest to get to the intersection of Bedford Ave and North 7th St. - the epicenter of Williamsburg where many gather for nightlife, shopping and to catch the Bedford Ave L train.

South Williamsburg - Go a mile west and you will be close to Bedford Ave and Broadway. This is the heart of South Williamsburg, where you'll find outstanding restaurants and bars, and a magnificent view of the Williamsburg Bridge.

Bushwick - Go a mile east to experience Bushwick, where artists have escaped the hoopla of bustling Williamsburg to set up underground restaurants, bars, and art galleries.

Greenpoint & McCarren Park - go 1.3 miles north to get to McCarren Park, which divides Williamsburg and Greenpoint - a traditionally Polish neighborhood that has countless bars, restaurants and an up-and-coming vibe.

L (email hidden)ation - walk 7 blocks north and catch the L, which is 1 stop to Bedford Ave in Williamsburg, 2 stops away from the East Village in Manhattan, and 4 stops to Union Square.

J/M (email hidden)ation - walk 4 blocks west and catch the J/M train, which is 2 stops to Manhattan and accessible to the Financial District and The World Trade Center and all destinations along 6th Avenue all the way to Rockefeller Center.

G train @ Broadway - walk 3 blocks southwest and catch the G train, which is a Brooklyn-Queens crosstown line, which will take you to the Barclay's Center Arena, Park Slope, or connect to the E/M trains to get into Midtown Manhattan.

  • We were 8 people (3 teenagers and 5 adults) and we found the place really good! Clean and spacious, the only negative thing was that the loft got really hot in the mornings. Really good to have a common area to gather in rather than we all having 3 different hotel rooms. Two bathrooms which was excellent. The neighborhood was OK - but more importantly really close to some really fun and vibrant areas in northern Brooklyn 10-15 minutes walk away. Close to the subway and the area felt safe. Would stay there again for sure.

  • Mike's place was great for a group of six! It was modern, well decorated, extremely clean, and very comfortable and spacious. The building itself was very nice as well. The two bathrooms (as opposed to one) were excellent for six people. I can only speak for the master bedroom, but the mattress and pillows were comfortable and good quality. The upstairs bedroom is very (email hidden), which has no door, so it does not stop sound from carrying up. But it's really great to have that private space for extra people rather than someone sleeping on the living room sofa. My friends who stayed up there did think one of the twin mattresses was extremely firm and therefore uncomfortable, but just request an air mattress up there before your trip and you should be fine. The private balcony and the shared roof-top balcony were nice perks. We didn't spend a lot of time at the apartment, but we all really enjoyed it for sleeping and for mornings hanging out before heading out for the day. And our host, Mike, was always accessible via email and good with communicating leading up to and during our trip. Very professional. I would highly recommend staying here!

  • Michael's place is really comfortable and spacious! It's at walking distance from a couple of really sweet restaurants and also from the train station.
I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come stay here again if I'm back in New York!

  • Amazing place and amazing host. The apartment was even better than the photos with an incredible patio! It was also very conveniently close to the bridge so getting to and from Manhattan was easy! Look forward to staying there in the future!

  • We didn't meet Mike but he (email hidden) providing lots of info on the area and NYC in general.

The apartment was very clean with everything we needed for our stay. The apartment is furnished very nicely and the 4 of us were very comfortable while we were there. The neighbourhood is great with local bars and restaurants all within walking distance. There is a choice of subway stations and travelling to Bedford Ave. or central NYC was quick and easy.

  • Mikes place was awesome. It is close to everything you need and not to far from the city. We were a large group and there was plenty of room for everyone. The two showers was also a plus. The terrace was beautiful. Mike (email hidden) as well and left us everything we needed.
