The apartment is very clean, quiet and peaceful. I am available as host and concierge and can easily be reached by email or text to answer any questions about the apartment or give recommendations on how to spend your time in New York.

CLOSE BY
My apartment is located on a very quiet block, which is pleasant and a short walk to many desired areas. Grand Street is 5 blocks north and the main drag of the immediate neighborhood. It’s low key but has all the unique hallmarks of Williamsburg.

North Williamsburg - Go a mile northwest to get to the intersection of Bedford Ave and North 7th St. - the epicenter of Williamsburg where many gather for nightlife, shopping and to catch the Bedford Ave L train.

South Williamsburg - Go a mile west and you will be close to Bedford Ave and Broadway. This is the heart of South Williamsburg, where you'll find outstanding restaurants and bars, and a magnificent view of the Williamsburg Bridge.

Bushwick - Go a mile east to experience Bushwick, where artists have escaped the hoopla of bustling Williamsburg to set up underground restaurants, bars, and art galleries.

Greenpoint & McCarren Park - go 1.3 miles north to get to McCarren Park, which divides Williamsburg and Greenpoint - a traditionally Polish neighborhood that has countless bars, restaurants and an up-and-coming vibe.

TRAIN INFO
L (email hidden)ation - walk 7 blocks north and catch the L, which is 1 stop to Bedford Ave in Williamsburg, 2 stops away from the East Village in Manhattan, and 4 stops to Union Square.

J/M (email hidden)ation - walk 4 blocks west and catch the J/M train, which is 2 stops to Manhattan and accessible to the Financial District and The World Trade Center and all destinations along 6th Avenue all the way to Rockefeller Center.

  • My stay at Michael's was awesome! He was very flexible with our check-in and check-out times and was there to greet us when we arrived. Very clear communication and helpful when it comes to giving info about the city. We were 3 people staying there and there was more than enough space. Very clean, and bright space with lots of little balconies and a huge terrace. The location was great.
All in all, Michael is a great host (super helpful and friendly person), I would stay at his place again!!

  • Michael's apartment provided us with a fantastic base for our visit to New York. It was conveniently located to access transport links into Manhattan as well as Brooklyn and Williamsburg. We had plenty of space for our group of 5 adults and found the apartment to be well equipped, warm and comfortable. Wifi was a positive bonus. The roof terrace offered views across to Manhattan although sub-zero temperatures rather limited our use of this area. This would be a great place for sitting outdoors in the warmer weather.

  • This was a great place to stay for our group of two adults and four kids. Very clean and quiet and pretty well equipped. Probably better for a group of four rather than six which we were as we could not all sit down together at the table and the upstairs loft space with two mattresses is otherwise unfurnished. Very clean and the two main beds were very comfortable. Good to have two fully equipped bathrooms both with baths and showers. Warm even in the coldest weather and plenty of hot water. Very comfortable main living space with loads of light and a comfortable sofa. Be aware there is no television. I am sure the balcony and roof space would be great in summer weather. We enjoyed the views but there was rather a lot of snow around when we were there! Building is secure and pleasant with a lift.

The location was good, slightly on the edge of the really happening part of Williamsburg but within easy walking distance of good cafes and restaurants, the retro "thrift stores" on Bedford Avenue and Digges Street (which our teenager daughters liked) and several underground lines. Key foods is a useful local supermarket on Grand Avenue on the way to the Lorimer Street L train station.

Michael was very helpful and responsive and easily contactable by email at all times.

Altogether a very good base for a trip to NYC. Thanks Michael.

  • Loft was well maintained, clean, and all appliances were working properly.

Building location was reasonable walking distance to several bars, restaurants, and subway entrances making it relatively easy to get into Manhattan.

Michael was very accommodating, available to answer all our questions, and was flexible with our travel arrangements.

Will definitely rent from Michael again if the opportunity arises.

  • This is a lovely, spacious and clean loft in a very convenient location. There are 2 bedrooms plus a loft so three separate sleeping spaces. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable and has an ensuite bathroom. The host is easy to contact and communicate with. He provides a lot of information about the neighbourhood and subway stops.
