Visiting a child at Dartmouth? Coming for business at DHMC? Want a fall color trip, summer lake escape, or winter cross-country ski getaway in New England?
Our place is perfect for you. Sleep in this gold jewel box of a bedroom with comfortable queen-sized bed, Italian marble floors and a giant picture window with an incredible view of the lake, mountains, and stars. Private bath with shower and bathtub is attached to your room.
In summer, step out the front door for kayaking, fishing, or swimming in Mascoma Lake, or out the back door to hike or bike the 20-mile Northern Rail Trail between Lebanon and Grantham NH; a short walk along the trail brings you to the Mascoma river for fly fishing. We can lend you the kayak, a bike, and/or basic fishing tackle, or feel free to bring your boat for waterskiing or other adventures.
In winter, snowshoe across the frozen lake or on the trail, or ice-skate on our front yard rink. Small kids love to sled down the hill! Warm up afterward with cocoa in front of the wood stove. We have snowshoes to lend for adults and kids, or bring your skis or snowmobile to use on the trail.
We're a 10 minute drive to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, and a 15 minute drive to Dartmouth College, too.
The room is perfect for a couple. We have a child and welcome children; if you bring a child or two along, they can sleep on an air mattress we'll provide in our son's playroom, or on a futon in the living room, adjacent to your room.
NEW: We now have a gorgeous new 3 person outdoor hot tub with a view of the lake!

Jeremy was a very accommodating host with great recommendations and the view was amazing!
Jeremy's place was the perfect rest stop for my long road trip. He was very accomidating to my late arrival and provided some last minute directions. The bed was very comfortable and I awoke to a fresh pot of coffee.
Jeremy and his family were welcoming and their room was very comfortable, not to mention a fantastic view over the lake! The attached bathroom was very spacious and Jeremy also prepared beverages for us in the morning before we continued with our journey. Their cat, Turtle, is also adorable =)
Jeremy has a great place at the end of a private road on Mascoma Lake. It has a cozy cabin-like feel to it. Even though I arrived very late (around midnight), Jeremy made me feel at home with a note on the door and a clean, comfortable room with a view of the lake. There's also a beautiful running trail steps from his house, which made for a great run on a crispy fall morning. Recommend for a solo traveler or couple who are visiting Dartmouth or want a great getaway place to appreciate the seasonal changes of New England.
The stay at jeremys house was great ! Our host is very sympatic, and give some tips useful, the view on the lake in the morning is wonderfull, house is beautiful too and the bedroom and washroom was very clean. Everything was perfect, you can go without hesitation!
We arrived later than expected and werent able to let Jeremy know however we were welcomed warmly and brought inside to our room! The bed was comfortable, the ajoining bathroom was big and the view of the lake was beautiful. Jeremy was happy for us to make his home our own and he gave us space to relax.
We stayed just one night at Jeremy's place but the McDonalds were lovely and accommodating. The room was adorable and made up with fresh towels and sheets, with an ensuite bathroom. The house is a little off the beaten path but sits right on a lake and from the room you have a stunning view (one wall is practically all window!). We were also provided with perfectly clear directions on how to get there. I just moved to the area and Jeremy kindly answered my many questions and made us feel welcome, even lending us some kitty litter and emailing me to let me know we forgot our kitten's medication in the fridge (we were traveling with our kitten, on account of moving). Thanks for a great stay, Jeremy!
