We offer a comfortable and homey backpacker in the center of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, very well located for direct transport to nearby towns and ruins as well as nature walks and sightseeing. (3 minute mototaxi ride from downtown Urubamba).
We have four bed and six bed shared rooms, orthopedic mattresses, warm feather duvets and polar blankets. All rooms have shared bathrooms with hot water all day. You may enjoy the common areas that will make you feel at home such as the cozy and spacious hang-out room with a diverse book shelve and internet, dining area with tea table, equipped kitchen available for use, nice garden areas with great mountain views, hammocks and a bonfire pit.
You will also meet Apu our llama whom we train to be the guide in our wonderful llama treks to nearby towns.
In our place you will find the ideal space to rest, feel at home and enjoy the best of the Sacred Valley.
I definitely recommend Alejandra and Coqui's place in Urubamba. Very clean and cute space, with lots of personality, and most of all, extremely friendly hosts!
Quiet environment, ideal location for aclimatising to the altitude (instead of staying in Cusco), easily accesible from Urubamba downtown in a fun "mototaxi". The bunk beds are very comfortable, excellent mattresses and warm blanket and comforter. The shared bathroom is reasonably clean and only shared between to rooms. The hot water is adequate, with detailed instructions on the bathroom wall on how to operate the heater . The kitchen is also clean and with all the utensils that you may need to prepare a meal. Having a few llamas in your front yard is a plus. Alejandra and Jorge are good hosts, helpful with information about the area (and good English!)
