I've read Geo's reviews and there's very little I can add. He's a much-loved Airbnb host for a reason—lovely house in a superb location with everything you could ever need (he even had Vegemite!) and a warm, friendly but unobtrusive host. I highly recommend Geo's place, BUT NOT when I want to stay there—'cause I'll definitely be back!
Oh Roy it sounds like you are feeling better...Thank you for your review. I do hope your feeling better. I would so much for you to stay here anytime you wish as well as Adamm.
I am wishing you will...Do take care and stay healthy...as I should talk, you are not the only one who has been sick. It seams the whole city is even at my Dr's as I went in to see him as well and everyone was ill as well as my buddies...It is a nasty bug going around....
Biggest Hugs, To you both.
Geo was so friendly and informative when we arrived. He had maps, books about San Fran and was so willing to tell us where to go and what to do. The apartment was great with a cute back garden and great living room area. It is smack dab in the Castro with great food, stores, clubs, Everything! For your trip to San Fran I highly recommend staying at Geo's.
We visited from the UK and rented Geo's place over Thanksgiving, it was perfect for us. Lovely house on the Castro, walking distance to a metro/bars and restaurants. Geo couldn't have been more helpful, we ended up with an extra guest last minute and he was more than happy to accommodate us. His home is lovely and cosy and definitely the place to stay if you want to cook for yourself - every pot, pan, spice, sauce, ingredient you can think of! A real home from home. I couldn't recommend enough. Front bedroom is slightly noisier than the other rooms but if you use ear plugs or if you're like me and don't mind a bit of traffic buzz then it won't bother you at all. We were made very welcome and would definitely stay again!
Geo's place is located right on Castro street and close to everything! The Castro is a fun neighborhood and it felt pretty safe too. We also explored much of the city using easily accessible public transit. We came home at night to an inviting, fun space. One our favorite things about Geo's apartment was the beautiful sitting garden in the back which you can see from the large window in the bathroom.
Geo is a fantastic host willing to help out in any way he can. We came to San Francisco for our wedding and Geo helped make our stay special. He is a sweetheart.
We would love to stay here again! Highly recommended!
Geo is a great host and his home is spectacular. He takes particular care in ensuring his guests have sufficient information on local goings on, and the extra touches (such as Vegemite - yum!) were well appreciated.
Geo's Castro home is a comfortable, charming and super central location from which to base any SF vacation. Hard to beat for all round convenience and comfort - we would happily recommend Geo's place to anyone considering a stay in SF.
Geo was a fantastic host, his hospitality and consideration was first class. We arrived late after a delayed long haul flight but that was no problem to Geo who was there to welcome us with a cold beer and lots of helpful info about the place and getting around San Francisco. The apartment was beautiful, very homely and comfortable. The location was excellent both in terms of local amenities as well as access to all the city has to offer. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone! Thanks for a great home from home experience. Look forward to returning in the not too distant future. Well done Geo!
Geo was a lovely host, very accommodating, friendly and super helpful! He did his best to make sure we had a good stay in San fransisco and he made sure we were comfortable in his home. It was a lovely cute house in a great location! Will definitely stay here again if available when coming back to San fransisco. Thanks for an awesome stay Geo!
Geo's place was really beautiful. We enjoy the stay there very much.
We have been really happy during our 5 days in Geo's place for at least three reasons 1/ Geo is the perfect host, very kind and helpful 2/ Geo's house is very convenient and spending time in the garden is a more than a pleasure 3/ Castro is a great place to stay in SF with many restaurants/ food shops/ transports facilities around.
We strongly recommend choosing Geo's place.
