The space
Slippery Rock Cabin is a traditional hand peeled log cabin. The warm cozy feeling of the wood surrounds you while you the convenience of a fully stocked kitchen, outside grill and your own private creek frontage with a firepit both by the cabin and another by the creek. Enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking, hiking in the mills or just lounging around down by the creek. The sound of the water by a fire can recharge you like nothing else can.

Guest access
The entire cabin, 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. You also have private access to 7 acres of land with 700 feet of creek frontage. It's a natural area and there are ravines and rock faces. We suggest keeping an eye on your toddlers if they are exploring.

Other things to note
Please note: This cabin is on US-422. You will hear the road. Down by the creek, less so. In the evenings the road has a lot less traffic.

Slippery Rock Cabin is set on 7 acres just before the creek enters McConnells Mill State Park. Please note: The creek becomes class 4 rapids between our property and the park. Please DO NOT attempt to Kayak it unless you are trained and equipped for such a journey. It's not for an amateur. If you put in at McConnells Mill after the dam, the creek maximum is class 3. The section between Eckert Bridge and Harris Bridge is class 2. **Please Note: the cabin is located right off US-422, close and easy to get to everything in the area but there is road noise, more so during the day when it's busy.
