This National Registry Historic Property (circa 1845-50) is located on our 7th generation working family farm. Walk the farm, see our animals and purchase pasture-raised beef/pork products from our General Store.

The space
This upstairs room in our Benjamin W. Best Inn features a queen bed, private bath, sitting area complete with game table, and a working fireplace featuring early American charm. This is our home and we welcome you. Bicycles are available for your use. Long-term stays available. We are a 12-15 minute ride to Goldsboro/Wayne County and Lenoir County health facilities.

The spacious dining room and intimate breakfast nook invite you to relax with a cup of local roasted coffee.

Enjoy warm breezes and fresh country air while rocking on the porch. Guests may also participate in hands-on activities such as grilling, picnicking, soccer, croquet, etc. Kayak rentals and a picnic lunch can be arranged. Bicycles are available to explore the area.

Other amenities include DirectTV, climate control and wireless internet access. We are available to plan, host or serve special dinners, cook-outs and events. Shop at our General Store to purchase our pasture-raised meat. Snacks and beverages are provided during your stay.

We are available for information about offerings in the area such as fine dining experiences, breweries, festivals, plays, antique auctions and sales, kayaking, farmers markets and other special events.

Other things to note
Our General Store is open for purchase of our pasture-raised Nooherooka Natural beef and pork products. We also offer farm events, dinners and cooking classes or options to plan your own unique experience. Plan a biscuit making class with the famous Miss Lillie.
