This apartment is down a lovely, tiny little lane a couple blocks back from the Lagoon at the eastern end of the middle of Venice. Literally 4 minute walk from the boat ferry stops. We loved being so close to everything, yet far enough away from the tourist crowds to make things feel more Venice, less tourist. Comfortable, quiet, and a pleasure to find the peace it gave us at the end of the day.

Wonderful location in Venezia. Close to San Marco and not too loud with tourists. Easy to walk to transportation or any sites.

I had my own private apartment and it was great. There wasn't an elevator, so it was a little tricky with luggage, but Luca was kind to help carry it up the stairs for me! It was walking distance to everything. There was a large selection for breakfast and my own kitchen. It was a very private place and quiet. The furnishings were a bit outdated and the air conditioning unit was a bit loud and a stand alone unit. It could be a really great place if it were updated a bit, but Venice was wonderful.

Dear Larissa, Thanks for your words. We are happy you stayed well in Venice and by us and we hope to welcome you again in the next future. We keep in our mind your suggestion . Venice is everywhere difficult for the haevy luggage, our building is ancient, romantic and peacefull, and elevators and air conditioning system are forbidden from the municipality of Venice. All the best. Kindest regards. Michela

A gorgeous place to stay. The suite is exactly as photos with ample space, one bathroom, one bedroom and one mixing small kitchen/dining and living room. Good supply of breakfast in your suite. The location is perfect. This place makes me feel like living in Roman old building with the courtyard, stone stair case and antique lighting. I would recommend this place to anyone . Only one thing to remind - don't dine in the restaurant right out of alley, I think the name is called 'Sala' the food is terrible and you would pay a handsome bill for that, they charge each person $4.5 for water plus $3 service fee.

Great location. Less than 10 minute walk from water taxi and St. Mark's Square. Our host was great and a pleasure to deal with.

The place is in a very charming historic building in the Castello area of Venice- a much less crowded and touristy area. I highly recommend it for convenience of location and value. The room units are very well stocked with breakfast items, mini fridge with milk and orange juice and there is a Nespresso machine just outside the room. Bathroom is clean and well-organized with basic toiletries. The building is a really wonderful 16th century venetian palace. There are residents from the second floor up so b&b is on the first floor only. Management has been very helpful and courteous, helping us out with directions, bag storage before departure and lending us umbrellas. Only detail is the lack of an up-to-date air conditioning unit (but this is a relatively important issue unless you are there in the middle of summer)- the one provided is not effective. Our room was not cleaned and restocked between day 1 and day 2 but not sure if that was the deal or not. I was a bit surprised. Overall I would stay again for convenience both of room and location. Thanks!!!

Dear Ilaria, Many thanks for your words. We are happy you stayed well in venice and by us and we hope to welcome you again in the next future. We are sorry , but in this ancient building isn't possible an air conditioning installation, but only air conditioning machine or fans. All the best. Kindest regards. Michela
