House - Private room · Bobadilla, La Rioja 26321, Spain

Si tenéis mascotas no tengo problema.

Muchas gracias Jose. Eres uno mas en casa

  • First off, the directions were very poor. We found it by trial and error of looking at maps and trying to compare it to the one provided on the web site. We finally stopped at a gas station and he called the phone number and could as least give us slightly better directions. Then Ana's mother was standing outside to flag us down. The house and rooms were adequate, but very old and spartan. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen is very dated and the kitchen sink had a bucket in it, running over with water dripping from the faucet. I was able to use the washing machine and Ana's mother let me use her clothes pins. Ana's mother was very nice and accommodating to us. But where we stayed sure didn't match the description given. In the amenities section for booking: Listed a breakfast: There was no breakfast or even a mention of one. There were pretty views from the back window. But we sure didn't see the river with salmon, bridges, or waterfalls. We saw no shops, restaurants, or a riding school as described. We did walk to a bar/restaurant about 3 blocks away...the food was ok, but no menu.....and was expensive for what we were served. The house had three floors, 4 bedrooms, with one bathroom, a kitchen and living room on the 3rd floor, Ana's mother lived on the 2nd floor, and the 1st floor was the entrance only. We had no patio with barbecue or a large terrace as described. In fact, I never saw a door other than the entrance. There was a garage where we could park our car. We did not meet Ana as her mother made it clear that she was the only one living there. Again, Ana's mother was very nice, but the place we stayed definitely did NOT match the description given. It was very cold in the house, but each room had an electric heater which was great. The bathroom had a roomy shower once we moved the scrub bucket and mop out of it!

  • Ana was very nice and helpful in arranging our stay and offering driving directions. We arrived very late due to problems with our journey and disturbed her mother, who very kindly waited up for us. The place itself was not so great for us as it was cold (we stayed in early April) and unrenovated, but we got a very good price so we can't complain. Although we were on a work trip we could see that it was a wonderful area to visit. Thanks again Ana and mother for your kindness.
