About This Listing
Escape to a private studio guest suite in beautiful remote Hana, Maui. Price includes all applicable taxes. The guest suite includes a king size bed. There's a well-equipped cooking facility and full private bath with tub and shower. A great place to wind down after a long day of exploring the wonders of East Maui. After a quiet night's rest, dozens of beautiful rain-forest songbirds will gently wake you in the morning.
The private and secluded entrance to the suite includes free Wi-Fi service to keep you connected to the rest of the world while you enjoy your privacy. Indulge yourself in the many fruit trees located on the property. We request that you check in before dark.
The kitchen is fully stocked with Cuisinart, blender, stainless steel peculator coffeepot, mixer, toaster, a fondue pot and sterno (we have wonderful Maui raised beef that can be purchased at the local grocery stores in Hana), and just about every utensil you would need to make delicious meals.
If you arrive in Hana before 3 pm, the Hana Health Center sells fresh vegetables that they grow on the property. The refig has a freezer so, if you like ice cream and can find Roselani Ice Cream (made on Maui) at the Hana stores - this is an experience you do not want to miss - every flavor is delicious.
We have lime, lemon, papaya, coconut, avocado, banana, mango and bread fruit trees on the property. Something is always producing fruit. We have a garden with fresh basil, parsley, rosemary, thyme, oregano, tomatoes, okra and butternut squash (when in season).
The property is rejuvenating and Hana brings out creativity - everyone always says how wonderful they feel and that their only regret is that they didn't plan to stay longer.
Explore Hana Town and visit the local shops and food stands along the road. Visit amazing tropical wonders such as Red Sand Beach, Hamoa Bay, Venus Pool and the unforgettable Bamboo Forest in Kipahulu. Taste ono grinds and true organic vegetables and fruits at local markets. Meet the locals and experience what true Hawaiian culture and life is all about.
Take note that the road to Hana is a long and winding one - both ways. Be prepared to spend a full day driving one way. We recommend driving the highway in its entirety, it is an experience in its own. On your return to the other side of the island, if you time your adventure right, you can witness sunset at Haleakala Crater - - 10,000 feet above the Central Valley of Maui!

Great place in an amazing location! We really had such a great time. Dale was a great host and we had everything that we needed for a wonderful stay. They really have prepared the room to make everything comfortable. We really didn't want to leave. I hope that we can make it back soon.
This place has all the comforts of home and more! It is by far the most well stocked AirBnb rental we have ever stayed in. Drink muddler?Check. Cards? Check. Boogie Board? Check. Gas grill? Check. Seriously, very well appointed kitchen, which we loved, as we made dinner there for our whole stay.
Their location is right as you enter into Hana, off the main road, but private, peaceful and quiet. There is a wonderful parking lot cafe across the street that you can walk to where we picked up our lunch everyday before heading out to our adventures, and they are 5 minutes from 'town center' where the grocery, gas & the General Store are. We found that staying in Hana after the long 'road to Hana' day was very preferable. I really allowed us to explore the town more thoroughly.
Dale & Jenny were fabulous & chatty and even let us ogle their in progress chicken coop, as well as giving us great trips about their property and Hana. Then- they were our complete saviors when my GF came down with some nasty food poisoning and they graciously let us extend our check out until she felt up to getting in the car for our drive to Wailea. And to top it off Jenny handed us a little spray bottle with peroxide & water to spray on our fruits for the rest of our trip as a precaution. Extremely thoughtful!
We only spent 2 nights here, but it is so comfy that we wished we had planned to a longer stay here. We would def. book again on our next trip to Maui. Thank you Jenny & Dale!
This is a beautiful, clean, private studio. Truly the perfect place to stay in Hana. We wish we could have stayed more than one night.
The location is king, right at the end of the first part of the Hana Highway from Kahului. The house itself located literally on the edge of the jungle, the end of the garden is in the jungle. Very peaceful, and very much romantic! The apartment itself is high tech, nothing to complain about - it is well maintained, and well furnished with everything needed to cook something for instance. The bathroom is GREAT, big tub with elegant furnishing and towels. Dale and his family were very welcoming, and the banana bread we have been served with was the best of all! We are actually looking forward to receive the recipe for that ;) All in all, a very well spent night there in a welcoming and great atmosphere, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE JUNGLE! :)
What a gem! We had a lovely stay at Heavenly Hana. We loved exploring the area and coming home to this perfectly appointed studio. Dale and Jenny were gracious hosts and incredibly helpful in providing tips and ideas of what to do. We also got some amazing homemade banana bread as our first breakfast in Hana, yum! We'll definitely be back.
Dale is a wonderful host. We pulled up and he came to greet us, provided us with great recommendations for both lunch and dinner, and showed us around our home for the night. The room is spacious and well-appointed - Scrabble set and cards, all sorts of kitchen utensils and equipment, and best of all, the delicious homemade banana bread which was our breakfast. It couldn't have been more "heavenly."
Dale was great and is a superb host! The studio was spacious and very beautifully and thoughtfully decorated; you can tell that the hosts paid attention to small details to make it a great place to stay. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely stay here again! I would like to add that the place looks even better than in photos. Thank you, Dale, and it was a pleasure to meet you!
