A spacious, serene and beautiful property with generous living areas, 3 bedrooms and tranquil courtyards. Just minutes walk from both Bronte and Tamarama beaches, and the famous coastal walk to Bondi Beach.
The house has 3 bedrooms, and can accommodate 6 people in beds, as well as two extra mattresses if needed.
All 3 rooms have Queen or Double beds. The Master bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom.
The downstairs courtyards at both front and back are perfect for lounging, reading, eating and entertaining. (Add a doona to the beautiful Teak Balinese daybed and you could sleep there too!)
If you want to hire a car, we have security garage parking underneath the building.
Guests have full access to the whole property.
We love Bronte for its proximity to both the city and harbour, while being literally minutes from both Bronte and Tamarama beaches, and one of the most beautiful coastal walks in the world. Take the famous Bondi to Bronte coastal walk, and you will arrive at Bondi Beach in only 20 minutes.
In and around our suburb there are so many amazing restaurants and cafes, from organic to tapas to fine dining. And the best coffee! There's shopping at Bondi Junction, bike riding at Centennial park, outdoor cinemas in the summer (and indoor at Bondi Junction). There's even an ice rink on Bondi Beach in the Winter Festival! Bronte is hard to beat.
A few metres from our property are regular buses to Bondi and Clovelly beaches (5-10 minutes), and the famous shopping mecca of Bondi Junction (10 minutes). At Bondi Junction you will find trains that will take you to the centre of Sydney (15 minutes)
Other Things to Note
(Note : We have a cat who usually goes to a local boarding facility. Some guests enjoy having her around as she is very friendly and self contained. The choice is completely up to you. )
Please no pets, smoking inside or large parties.
We had a beautiful stay in Kristine's home. The house and garden are both exactly as described and Kristine's welcome in person to my parents and useful written welcome pack made for a very relaxing stay. Its a quick bus into town or a very quick walk to the beach, and the garden is so tranquil that you could be in the middle of Bali rather than the city. Thanks for a great time.
Great location and lovely house for a family to spend time by the beach. Kristine was extremely helpful in all aspects
Very helpful host. Very near to the beach with walking distance. Easy for traveller with car because there was a garage straight connected to the house doorstep. Not too suitable for traveller with wheelchair because there are many staircase before reaching the house. Well equipped kitchen. And all linen tower n toiletries available. No hassle at all.
Thank you Kristine for opening your beautiful home to my friends and I. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the proximity to the water, the cosy backyard and the beautiful walk to Bondi, we couldn't have asked for a better location. Everybody fell in love with Coco (the cat) too and can't wait to visit again soon.
Thank you Kristine! The stay has been very enjoyable. Your home is very nicely decorated and comfortable. The location is great, with a fantastic sea view just around the corner. We will definitely stay again for our next visit to Sydney!
Kristine was the perfect host. Her house was amazing and ideal for a stay within walking distance of two fabulous beaches. It had all that anyone would need including great facilities throughout and a lovely relaxing oasis like garden space. The whole house was beautifully appointed and offered for rent by relaxed and generous owners. A real home from home. Many thanks!

I've lived in Sydney for a long time, though I was born in Norway. I seem to have both the sea and mountain cabins in my blood, because I'm now living between the two! I met my partner Sonu in my travels a few years ago, and we now divide our time between our home at Bronte Beach, and the Javanese teak Joglo cabin we help manage in the mountains of Bali. Sonu is Indian Hindu, who spent 10 years running an Indian restaurant in Israel, so between us we are a bit of a multicultural stew. We also have multi cultural children who love water - beaches, pools, and the fish that swim in the ponds in Bali.
