Interaction with Guests
I am happy to provide you with information regarding my appartement and the neighborhood.
I love St Germain-des-Prés! Elegant, smart, it gathers artists and writers that you can meet in art galleries and bookshops. With it famous café such as Café de Flore, Deux Magots and its lovely Parc du Luxembourg, the 6th arrondissement is ideally located in central Paris, closed to museums, the Seine and its romantic walks.
By metro, bus, taxi or car, my appartement is very easy to access where ever you are coming from. Just let me know where you arrive, (airport, train station) and I will advise you the best way to come.
-Nearest public parking is Parking St Germain des Prés (171 Boulevard Saint-Germain, 75006 Paris).
-Nearest tubes stations are : St Germain des Prés (line 4 / purple, direct from Gare du Nord), Rue du Bac (line 12 / green), Mabillon (line 10 / brown).

New linen, towels, shower and furniture in the bathroom:-)!
No drugs, no pets, no smoking, no noise after 11 pm, thanks;)!
This is our second time to rent Pam's place.
The apartment is very clean and Pam is always very nice host!
Recommend this apartment!
Very pretty and cute flat with lots of space for 2. Good modern shower with plenty of hot water and water pressure. Pam made arrangements for us to arrive quite late at the flat, which was great! Both she and her cousin were very helpful and make sure we had what we needed while we were staying. The location is perfect - the river is 5 minutes away for a picnic, it's 10 min to the Louvre and the Musee d'Orsay, and the Metro is nearby if you'd like to go further. Gare du Nord is an easy metro ride away with no changes (15-20 minutes). We walked everywhere given the great location.
It was a hot week in Paris, so we needed to keep the windows open at night. Like many streets in Paris, it can be noisy with open windows, so it is a good idea to bring earplugs in the summer (this goes for any city really!)
The apartment is as pictured - a lovely sunny apartment in a great location. The apartment is very well kept and clean and perfect for those who want to feel at home as soon as you get in doors. Sadly I did not get to meet Pauline in person but, she was very communicative ensuring that our stay was smooth and that she was available if we needed anything. We were welcomed by her cousin who was very nice. We met a few neighbors int he building and they were nice also. I would definitely stay here again on our next visit!
Thanks for your kind comment. This said, as for the extra cost for check-in, this is totally because of your bad timing, and not my fault. So it is not fair at all to blame for that. You were wrong in your arrival time (5pm instead of 11 am), and I organize all my departure, including train tickets, to adapt my plan on your one. Hopefully I found someone for the check-in. It is totally norma to pay her for that: it means at least 1h30 to do it (time to come, wait for you and go back home: Paris is a big town! think of it), and we are not concierge;-)!
I always do my best to welcome my guests... when they give me the right time!
Anyway, it is not a big deal. What matters is that you appreciate your stay;-)!
I have stayed in this appartment before and it is just fantastic!
The location is amazing and the house is very spacious for Parisian standards with a separate living room and bed room with ensuite bathroom. The location is easily accessible and reachable by metro line 4 and it surrounded by nice restaurants and shops. The louvre is around the corner across the Seine, as well Musee D'Orsay is just 5 minutes walk. I am looking forward to come back soon again to this amazing place and can recommend this house to everyone looking for an unforgettable stay in Paris.
Excellent!! Pauline made my first Airbnb experience fantastic. The apartment was just as described and perfectly located. The neighborhood has plenty to offer and you can easily walk to many museums and the river. I would definitely stay at this lovely apartment on a return visit to Paris! Pauline communicated very well and was very responsive. I hate I didn't get to meet her personally, but her friend met me at the apartment and answered all my questions. Great experience!
Amazing experience! Great location, maybe the best One in Paris; many attractions are at a few minute walking. There are many restaurants and markets real close and also the metro is a few block away. The apartment is clean and nice as in photo; is also very quiet even at night. Pam has been a perfect host, nice and warm...I will surely be back!!
Esperienza assolutamente positiva !
Pam was super accommodating from the start, allowing us to check in early on the Saturday morning, as we took the red eye from Toronto. Although she was not available to greet us, her cousin Josephine welcomed us and showed us around.
Pam left us with a few travel books, a Metro map and her personal recommendations in the neighbourhood, all of which were helpful.
We absolutely loved the neighbourhood. It was a short walk to the Metro, the Louvre and many other attractions. Our favourite daily ritual was going to the local cafe down the street for a coffee and croissant.
The stairs up to her apartment were probably the most challenging part as they get very steep and narrow near the top (particularly with luggage), but we were able to manage.
We only cooked breakfast, but the kitchen had just what we needed.
Cozy and very charming, it was the perfect place for my husband and I for our week in Paris!
