This is a Renaissance apartment overlooking one of the most beautiful squares in the world, Piazza Pitti.
There is a lounge-dining room with sofa bed queen-size that sleeps 2 that you can turn into a big privacy room closing the doors of the hall because the entrance the kitchen and bathroom
separate the house into two parts without invading the privacy of both rooms,1 private room with bedroom that sleeps 2, 1 bathroom and kitchen complete with pots, pans plates and cutlery, and also free wi-fi.
It's 10 minutes from the railway station, accessible by public transport or by foot, close to supermarkets, restaurants, museums, and has a beautiful view of the square.
A large and comfortable apartment for 2 or 4 people, with 900 square feet of space.
It is bright, near cafés, restaurants and small supermarkets: it's easy to walk everywhere in Florence from here. A quiet and well-lit apartment in which to sleep well, cook dinner, or have a romantic breakfast.
I had a wonderful time in Florence. The apartment is just across the river from the main attractions and we walked to everything. The apartment itself has walls and ceilings that look like those of a museum and the view is the Pitti palace which definitely gets you in the mood.
Please note however that the apartment is high up several flights of stairs and has no elevators. The owner was really nice and helped me with my luggage. Also if you visit in the winter like us, plan extra warm clothes because old buildings don't heat up very well.
Great location across from Pitti Palace, looking out from 2nd floor accomodations to the main entrance to the palace. Walking distance to most main attractions and center of the tourist area, shops, resturants, gelato stores and short walk to the UFIZZI Gallery. Large kitchen, and dining/living room area with central (large) bathroom and master bedroom. Sleeper sofa in large living room and easy to create privacy with the doors leading into the dining and living rooms. Spacious, but has an old world atmosphere as you enter the main vestabule and ground floor entry. Was cold during our stay and heating was somewhat limited. Host greeted us at the door and explained all. Good communication.
Fantastic apartment. We loved how close it was to downtown, yet just far enough to be quiet and away from tourists. Raphael's communication was great, easily reachable and very fast to respond. The apartment was everything we needed. We had 2 kids with us (8months and 4years) and had no problems. Lots of space for them to play and we could close off the room for them to sleep.
Kitchen was adequate, but you are in Firenze…. there is no need to eat at home with such great food within walking distance.
This is a historical apartment, beautiful place! I would highly recommend staying here, or working with Raphael. We will surely be back to Firenze again and will look to Raphael to accommodate us.
My stay with my mother at Raphael's place was wonderful.
He was easy to organise and communicate with and went out of his way to call me in Australia to organise making my requested reservation dates work. The apartment is gorgeous and Ina dream location. We had morning coffee overlooking the Medici palace :)
The space is huge and very comfortable. The euro laundry and wifi were a major plus for me as I had been traveling for months already.
I would highly recommend the apartment for a memorable and delightful stay in Florence.
Raphael was amazing. The view of Palazzo Pitti is spectacular and the accommodation is just as Raphael describes it. The building entrance is right behind several little street cafes, so you can have a snack if you arrive early, which we did. Raphael helped carry our bags up the flights of marble stairs and opened the door to his very spacious apartment, complete with sofa double bed, which is part of the kitchen dining room area with the amazing view. The bedroom as a large set of ancient doors and double bed. look at the overhead beams, it really takes you back in time when you are there. The front bedroom can be completely darkened with the shutters, so both bedrooms can be dark if you want that. The kitchen had all the utensils and Raphael walked with us over the bridge and showed us the best restaurants, best stores, where to buy groceries and helped us buy tickets to the local museums - a real help believe me! We asked about leather jackets and Raphael took us to his leather "David" leather shops, he is also a leather designer, so had incredible fashions and they can custom make jackets in just the right colour and style you want, then will ship them back home for you. Thank you Raphael for making our stay in Florence very memorable; we are still amazed as we remember walking down the streets with you, and every second local person greeted you as you walked, we knew you are very well liked by many people in your city. Thank you Raphael
I loved this apartment. It's location is fantastic, and it is quite large. The apartment is so old and charming, it was exactly what I envisioned, being from the 1400's. Being a very old building, noises do echo, so be aware that it is a quite loud building. But even so, I still loved it.
Our family enjoyed two nights in this amazing apartment overlooking Palazzo Pitti - the view from the windows was incredible. The apartment was comfortable and very central to all of Florence. Raphael told us where the local supermarket was which stocks a huge variety of fresh food and wines. There was information in the room about the local area.
