Its not often I comment or disagree with a guest but I have to here, Liv.
The simplicity of the room is advertised on the web site although, I have to say, It is a typical bedroom you would have at home - Plenty of floor space, light and airy, good size wardrobe, double bed, chest of drawers, bedside drawers, table lamp, wall mirror, table mirror, decorated with 2 hand painted oil paintings, a desk with drawer and comfortable chair to site on. Wifi access, radiators connected to the central heating, an electric convector heater and an additional over blanket.
Locks on doors. This is my home and you, as a guest, are coming to stay.
Homes that put locks on their doors I can only imagine to be a rarity.
You are in my house and I am trusting you. Surely, this must apply in the other direction also. Why would you want a lock on the door?
Now, you say the lock on the door is a necessity?? Why then, have you not researched this before choosing to be my guest? I don't state anything about locks in my description. Surely, if this was a necessity for you, you would be asking the question prior to booking?
This is my house, and all Air BnB houses, are NOT hotels!
I disagree with your words and suggestions and definitely your star rating.
Considering you stayed for 10 days and we saw each other a couple of times, as you hardly stayed at the house, I'm surprised you've found the time to 'basically' complain.
