A two bedroom apartment in the Trastevere in Rome.
The Apartment itself, has been recently renovated and decorated. It has an open plan, fully equipped kitchen, gas stove, oven, and a Nespresso machine for coffee addicts. The bathroom has new fixtures, a washing machine and drier. Both bedroom's have a double bed, and you will be provided with fresh (website hidden)/DVD player and Internet upon request.
For breakfast I can happily guide you to one of Rome’s more famous bakeries, for a wonderful selection of Cornetos (Italian Croissants). In the Summer you won’t lack for Gelaterias. On Sundays, the famous Porta Portese Market is just outside our door. A stone throw from the River Tiber, perfect for a leisurely stroll, jog, or cycle.
Considered the heart of the city, it is ideally located for The Traveller. 3 minutes walk to Trastevere Train Station that links you directly to Fiumicino Airport in 25minutes, 3 minutes in the opposite direction you have a Bus that takes you to Termini Train Station. Tram no. 8 carries you further into the centre of Rome, for Restaurants, Bars, Night Clubs and Tourist Attractions.
Nicola was such a gracious host and made herself available at all times. A great flat within minutes from all Rome has to offer. BEWARE if you are parking a car in the area. There's a market on Sundays and our car got towed as we didn't know the parameters of where you could and couldn't park. Otherwise a great experience
The reservation was canceled 3 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
When looking for a place for my inlaws to stay this summer, we chose Nicola's apartment for its proximity to our house, size of the apartment, and proximity to both train and tram stations. We were pleasantly surprised to discover the apartment stayed cool no matter what the weather, the decor was lovely and comfortable with a large common space inclusive of kitchen, and the courtyard outside the apartment is beautifully maintained. Nicola was always available if we had a question or problem, and is an honest and trustworthy person as well (a bit of a rarity in Rome!). We would highly recommend satying here, and look forward to using the apartment again when we have visitors!
This is a beautiful apartment conveniently located on the tram line. It took us 10 minutes from the time we left the front door until we were in the center of Rome. Nicola was a wonderful host, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She even took us out to breakfast on our first morning to show us the neighborhood.
