A spacious one bedroom flat in the heart of one of London's coolest neighbourhoods. Easy walk to Old Street, Liverpool Street, and Hoxton tube stations, and well serviced by hire bikes, put yourself in the heart of the best nightlife in London.
What I love about Hoxton and Shoreditch is the great range of cafes and restaurants - for breakfast I normally go to The Ginger Pig Cafe; The Book Club; or The Breakfast Club (where there are big queues on weekends).
In Summer all the action happens in Hoxton Square (a short walk from the flat) - the minute there's any sun the entire neighbourhood grabs some food and some drinks and determinedly makes the most of it.
If you're working in the City it's an easy walk, or a short cycle on a hire bike. If you're heading into the West End you've got the choice of tube, bus, or cycle.
On weekends it's an easy stroll to the Columbia Road flower market and the Brick Lane precinct.
This area is blessed with some great bars - I like to start my Saturday night with a Vietnamese on Kingsland Road and then head to George & Dragon or the Builders' Arms.
Hoxton and Shoreditch is a great place to live - I hope you enjoy your stay here.
My stay at Gareth's flat was lovely - it's clean, well-decorated and centrally located. Gareth was very friendly and helpful!
I'm giving one star because Gareth was a very nice person. If he wasn't, I'd rate this flat as 0 stars. It was filthy. It was so dirty and run down that I actually took pictures because no one would believe me from the lovely photos that are shown on AirBnB.
I asked Gareth to waive the cleaning fee and he agreed without hesitation. I felt like I didn't even want to sit on the futon couch, as there were weird stains on it. There was black mold coming out of the walls, water damage, filthy bathtub, kitchen sink was gross, the kitchen counters were made of wood and had mold and water damage. On top of everything else it smelled very strongly of mildew. I would never come back. Nice location, though, and again, Gareth was a really nice dude. One star for being an awesome dude! Sorry for the bad review, man, but you really need to represent the flat more accurately.
Gareth was a great host very well organised and easy to get to from old street station 10mins walk past very good food places Bacchus house and howl at the moon pub! Lovely local produce and markets right at the doorstep!
HIGHLY recommend this place! And will definitely be staying again there soon!
Gareth was a wonderful host and the flat is great! It's lovely and roomy and in a great location and was spotlessly clean. Gareth was really friendly and gave great advice for nearby places. I definitely recommend him!
Gareth was very friendly and helpful. Flat was in a great location and perfect size for our needs.
Good location and very helpful host!
Great location, nice apartment. Would book again.
My dad and I enjoyed our stay at Gareth's flat, and it was wonderful to meet him personally. He showed us the in's and out's of the flat, and left us alone to our plans.
This is perfect for someone looking to stay in London and feel like they live there, who need only the necessities.
A somewhat residential area with some great cafes and restaurants just outside your door (fantastic Chinese take away directly across the street).
The location is a short walk from Kingsland Rd, where one can catch a bus directly into main city areas or find more variety shop wise.
The flat was exactly as shown in the listing, located within a secure building, and we had no complaints.
This is a really great apartment in a really great location. The host was very helpful and friendly and responded quickly to my emails. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and clean and has a good WIFI connection. Even though it looks onto a bustling street we were not bothered by noise and it felt safe and secure.
I loved the area. It's in the midst of vibrant London community and there's not a Big Ben Snow Globe or Union Jack bowling hat to be found for miles. Hoxton street is great, but I also loved the Broadway Market, the canal, Victoria Park, the Cock Tavern and the Spurstowe Arms.
I totally recommend staying here.
Nice appartment. Great neighbourhood. Most flexible check in/out. We really recommend it!!
