This room is a lovely quiet room with a queen sized bed outfitted with elegant Grange furniture. It has a private bath with marble and travertine finishes. It is located on the second floor of a newly constructed Arts and Crafts style home situated walking distance from all downtown Carrboro has to offer: great bars, coffee houses, eateries. The home is on the free city bus line to UNC and downtown Chapel Hill.

The space
Your room is spacious, but not enormous. The Directoire style bed has a 6" memory foam topper and is very comfortable. You have ample closet space. The bath has a toilet and tub/shower with shampoo/conditioner/gel and a hair dryer provided.

The property is located in the historic part of downtown Carrboro among some of the loveliest homes in town. There are mature oak and elm trees all along the street. The front porch overlooks these old homes and the back screened porch faces a screened in vegetable garden and wooded area. You can walk to the neighborhood yoga studio (which I co-own) in the historic Carr Mill, maybe do a little shopping at Sophia's boutique and shoetique--a fabulous purveyor of stylish, albeit comfortable, shoes--then to Glass Half Full for dinner then Pecadillo for drinks--the evening will be complete!
